This bark and training collar works better than I expected. My large dog responds quickly to the beep, vibration, and adjustable shock. The remote has excellent range, and the auto mode is very accurate. The collar is rugged yet comfortable for my dog to wear. With consistent, careful use, it has significantly reduced barking and improved obedience. Definitely a reliable and humane solution for training large, active dogs.

The automatic option did not work out of the box, and I don’t think I received a defective device, they’re just poorly designed. The little microphone to detect barks is facing outward instead of the throat, and is covered by the collar when you have everything hooked up. And I imagine if it did work correctly, because the microphone is facing out, that it would go off when anything made a bark-like sound, which is a problem when you have other dogs or just when you live in a noisy place.
