Edit: the seller reached out after I reviewed the collar with 1 star. They sent a replacement which arrived in 2 days. I appreciate a business standing behind their product. I’m skeptical the new collar will last long so crossing fingers we get through training successfully.

Lasted two months and died. It shows a green light when plugged in to charge. When you press the button to turn it on, it’s on for less than 1 second then shuts off. The device was only used for 3-4 hours a day and not every day so how could it just stop working after 2 months? We are still training our puppy and were having a lot of success with this collar using the sound and vibration modes. Our yard is 1/3 acre and the collar worked at every corner (back when it would turn on). The collar strap is HUGE so we had to use rubber bands to hold the excess. It’s odd there’s so much strap when these devices are primarily for training puppies. We didn’t want to cut the strap because the nylon weave would unravel.

I cannot recommend this collar. If you are counting on using the collar in a specific moment, like the grandkids are coming over and the puppy is going to jump on them and knock them over unless he gets a sound correction and then the collar stops working and the puppy jumps on the little kids and knocks them over, don’t buy this collar.

Worked like a charm. My Aussie Shepherd has been barking his face off at everything for 4 years. Cat at 2am “Alert the family!!” Mailman everyday “Alert the family!!” I used the method of two warning beeps, then the vibrate, then the shock, and after a few hours he only needs the beep. No I no longer need to even send the beep. He still barks, but only twice since that’s when I’d send the first warning beep, which is perfectly fine with me since I do still want him to bark if someone were to break in or something, and I live in a pretty rough neighbourhood so it’s not a bad thing if he wants to give two warning barks to anyone who gets too close to the house. And he no longer barks at cats and birds at all.

The other nice thing that happened was he got out of the yard and went down the street and around the corner, I used the beep to try and locate him. Although I couldn’t hear the beep he understood he was being no good and came right back home immediately.

If you want to cut out barking entirely a specific automatic no bark collar might work better for you, but for all around general training this has worked very well.

This collar has everything you need to train your dog. I had never used a shock collar before because I always had labs, and they were easily trained. The year I bought this was 2023 and it is now 2025, I had a rescue dog that was part Malinois in 2023. She was simply untrainable before this collar. She even failed obedience training classes. She would not come when I called her and she would only obey some commands if she felt like it.
This collar changed everything. In addition, I had a couple of questions and was able to call the manufacturer, and they answered all my questions with professionalism. My dog, Scout, now comes when I call her. She has swam and run through deep puddles and rain with this collar. I love the features that include the ability to do everything but shock and then shock if you need to with two levels of shock. It has the buzz notification. It has the vibrate notification, and then lastly, it has the shock function with two separate settings. In addition to that, it has a light on the remote and, you can turn the light on the collar on the dog. So, if you get stuck outside in the dark, like I did, when you turn the light on the dog, you know where the dog is. The only suggestion for improvement that I could make is in the owners manual, and really only in one regard: That is to make it more clear that if you need to use the shock function, you have to take the rubber caps off the two prongs. That may sound obvious to some folks, but the owners’ manual specifically states to leave the rubber cups on if you want to avoid any damage to the dog’s neck. Once I removed the rubber caps, the shot collar worked great, and the dog started behaving as she should. She has had no damage from applying the shock. I have had this collar long enough to thoroughly evaluate it. When I go out with my neighbors in the park and we let all of our dogs off leash, this shock collar is the best one and my dog has now become one of the best behaved. Thanks to this collar.

Great battery life. Petite enough to still have normal collar on and this one. Doesn’t seem to bother her at all.

We even tried the Halo collar and this was better. We returned the Halo and been with this since! (Labrador retriever puppy-6months to currently 10 months.) Originally used to help learning perimeter of our yard/behavioral things like jumping, chasing, sit, stay, heel, fetch, but now we’re transitioning into duck hunting training! So affordable and reliable. We Iove that it’s water proof too especially this miler with swimming at the river. (If you use the shock feature, be sure to adjust if wet though. It’ll be stronger due to direct skin contact versus if they are dry and not directly on skin and more buffet of their hair.)
