Compré este collar de entrenamiento para mi perro mediano (un labrador bastante terco) y, siendo honesto, estaba un poco escéptico al principio. No quería lastimarlo ni usar nada que se sintiera agresivo. Pero después de investigar y consultar con un adiestrador, decidí probarlo como apoyo para mejorar su comportamiento durante los paseos.
El collar tiene varios niveles de estímulo (vibración, sonido y en algunos modelos una ligera descarga) y lo bueno es que puedes ajustar todo fácilmente. En mi caso, la vibración ha sido suficiente. Solo lo usamos en momentos puntuales y combinándolo con comandos verbales, y la mejora ha sido notoria: ya no tira de la correa ni se lanza hacia otros perros.

No es un reemplazo del entrenamiento; es una herramienta complementaria.
Hay que usarlo con responsabilidad para no generar miedo o estrés. El collar ha sido muy útil para reforzar límites y mejorar la comunicación con mi perro. Si lo usas con sentido común y en conjunto con refuerzo positivo, puede marcar una gran diferencia. Vale la pena lo ame.

The collar works well for training and is easy to use. It has different settings that allow me to correct my rescues or foster dogs behaviors without being harsh. The battery life lasts a good while, and the remote range is reliable. Overall, it’s been helpful in improving obedience and reducing unwanted behaviors.
