Tiny loose metal piece needed to be in the hole of the on/off switch on the collar. The rubber covering for the switch and charge port was not on when arrived, and the lip of the rubber piece was very difficult to get into place. In my attempt to do so, I lost the tiny metal piece, so now it won’t turn on, making it useless.
I would recommend you continue shopping.

This collar has been a lifesaver. My mother-in-law’s dog was killing my chickens and rabbits, and nothing else worked. With this remote collar, the behavior stopped almost immediately. I like the different settings (vibration, low shock, etc.), and usually vibration alone is enough now. The battery lasts, range is great, and it’s durable for outdoor use. It gives me peace of mind and keeps my other well-trained dog from picking up bad habits. Highly recommend!

This is seriously a great training collar. The safely lock, the variety of settings and the VERY clear display set this one apart from similar priced units. Quality is top notch as well! The vibration settings are really responsive too! I’ve found that they’re often enough to correct behavior without the need for shock. GREAT STUFF!

I’m very impressed with this dog training collar! The remote is easy to use buttons for each function. It offers multiple training modes (beep), (vibration), and (shock) so I can choose what works best for my fur baby without overusing the shock feature. The collar is lightweight but durable, and it fits my fur baby comfortably.
The rechargeable battery lasts a long time, and I appreciate that it’s waterproof since my dog loves playing outside. After just a few training sessions, I’ve already noticed a big improvement in his behavior. This collar has made training so much easier and less stressful for both me and my fur baby. Its a great training tool indeed. Overall this was a great buy.

Got this after a friend’s experience with a similar device.
I removed the prongs and only use the beep and vibrate functions.
It works well when the dog is barking at the amazon delivery driver or has escaped. We’ve also used this at the park when off leash, when he starts to get too far away for comfort. The dog learned quickly and comes to me usually after 1 or 2 beeps and the vibrate function is used to draw his attention when he starts barking at delivery drivers or neighbor dogs on the street.
I’ve gone through a few other devices that have been lost in the woods and this one has lasted the longest so far. Battery life is great, we go 1-2 weeks between charging and haven’t had it die or give any sign of low battery.
I’m planning on buying another for our other dog.

With the remote in my hand, I give a small shock when she does something wrong, and she stops immediately. I love it because it really helps me train her and keep her safe.
