Our 100 pound Lab girlydogs love these balls. Have several and all sizes.
First one, after a year of playing inside and out, split along one crease and the soft, fluffy filling started coming out…replaced that one.
Love these. Pups love the squeek! Soft enough for the dogs to catch.
Colors are bright and easily seen for avoiding when walking for humans.

We started with just one tiny DuraPlay ball. It was like the Holy Grail of toys—squeaky, bouncy, bacon-scented bliss. My dogs guarded it like it was made of gold. Then, one day, tragedy struck: after months of nonstop fetch marathons and squeak-symphonies at 3AM, the ball finally gave out. My dogs looked at me like I had personally failed them.

So I ordered the 3-pack of mediums (they were on sale—don’t judge me). I thought they’d be too big, but the dogs took one look, squeaked them once, and acted like they’d just been handed the keys to Disneyland. Honestly, I think they forgot about the original ball immediately.

These things outlast every other toy we’ve owned, and my dogs play fetch so aggressively I’m surprised we haven’t gotten a noise complaint from the squeaks alone. 10/10. If these ever disappear, I’ll need to enter witness protection.

If you’ve got a German Shepherd, you know they don’t mess around when it comes to toys—they want action. These Hartz DuraPlay squeaky balls totally deliver. My GSD is a high-drive chewer, fetch fanatic, and part-time toy destroyer. And yet, these bacon-scented balls have survived the chaos.

The latex exterior is flexible but sturdy, which gives her a satisfying squish without falling apart after two tosses. And let me tell you—the squeaker is LOUD. It’s basically a personal challenge for her to squeak it nonstop, and she never gets bored.

Bonus: these things float. Lake trips, backyard hose games, indoor hallway fetch—they work in every scenario. Plus, they’re easy to clean after a muddy adventure.

If you’ve got a smart, strong, playful Shepherd who needs enrichment on the regular, these toys are worth every cent.

We have a Yorkie puppy that loves his squeaky Dog Toys! These are so cute, very soft, no rubbery smell, very bouncy when we throw, great value for the money. Puppy hides these until we cannot find anymore. Quality is great. We toss, it bounces, and he dances when we hold in the air squeaking. It is very entertaining for us all. Bright colors helps us see them clearly. He loves to chew them as well as hide them. Very light weight for him to run with in his mouth to his dog bed or to hide. Puppy loves these.

I just received these balls today and got one out for my daughter’s Dachshund. She loved it for about 15 minutes and then gnawed a huge chunk out of it. It was in the garbage within 20 minutes of receiving it. I’m not even going to give her the other ones. We had an issue once before where she was chewing on her Kong and swallowed some pieces. It messed up her digestion for quite a while. Not taking the chance with these balls. Too bad because they have nice bounce and good squeak. She was thrilled with it until we saw that she ruined it and we quickly took it away from her. If you have a Dachshund or other aggressive chewer, I’d look for something else.

UPDATE – I’ve bumped up the rating by 2 stars, changed the review title, and ordered another set. We found that we can’t leave the dog alone with the ball, but if we use it to play with her, we can monitor when she starts to aggressively gnaw at it. So now, it’s more of a fetch ball and we’ve taught her how to stop gnawing it and drop it for another chase. They still give in to her sharp little teeth more easily than other toys, but she really loves them and gets so excited when we get one out. It’s easily her favorite toy, and who doesn’t want to see their pup happy?! It’s definitely not a chew toy, but it’s been great as a fetch ball. If you go into it with that understanding, you and your pup will both be happier with the product.
