My dog really liked this. He didnt chew it up, he carries it around, biting gently and making the chicken crackling sound. It has lasted. Might be his favorate toy. No stuffing, just squeak and crackle sounds. Interactive. Its a cute chicken too.

My dog usually destroys everything and this toy he has managed to not break (yet).

I buy these chickens for when my Scottie, Miss Sally is feeling pent up from not being able to go to the dog park. They have two squeakers, which gives her something to kill twice. Literally she knows how to rip off its wings to make a nice little hole in the chicken. Then she burrows her nose in the small hole until she gets squeaker number one. That pretty much calms her down for the evening. The next day, she’ll attack squeaker number two.

I gave it only three stars because of the price. These are throw-away toys for my dog.
If you have an aggressive chewer, then you probably don’t want the chicken. Try the duck; it’s more sturdy, but only has one little squeaker in it. However, the duck has fiber-fill, whereas the chicken is stuffed with crinkle sheets. The peeps hold up fairly well, but my dog has found their weakest link too!

Suffice to say they aren’t very high quality, but they help calm my girl down.

My seven puppies have all had a blast with this toy. It is surprisingly durable, holds up to tug-of-wars, and has lasted through several washes in the washing machine and dryer. It has crinkle stuff inside, so no real stuffing to come apart. The puppies are now 3 months and still love to play with this toy. The large is just the right size and they seem to love the crinkle noise. It’s easy to grab and toss around. A great buy and has outlasted a bunch of other toys. Highly recommend.
