For years my go to for heavy chewers has been cow hoofs and intact deer antler. Then we got an Australian Shepherd… This was a dog that wanted multiple new cow hoofs daily, and would not stop pestering for a fresh one. Intact deer antlers have become more and more difficult to acquire, so I went searching for an alternative. We have had an assortment of the BeneBones now for over a month. Interest has not waned, still used daily, and wear is minimal. This has solved the problem.

Granted, the cow hoofs are a buck apiece, but that equals the cost of a single BeneBone in a week!

We ordered her both the wishbone and curved one…so far I have not been able to notice a preference.

The only problem, is she loves to take them outside, then at night I have to go on a hunt in the dark to collect them all! Thank fully, there appears to be no attempt to bury them, yet!

Personally, I had a hard time with the cost of these, but now seeing the longevity and joy they provide, I am happy to say they are well worth the cost, and I consider them a long term investment.
