My breeder recommended this shampoo for our 8 week old puppy and said she’s been using it with her puppies for years. We tried it and love it. It smells really good while putting it on, and isn’t too strong of a smell after our puppy is rinsed and dried. Our puppy has sensitive skin and can get itchy easily, so we are happy this does not dry out her skin. It gets sudsy and foamy easily and works into her fur well. We have used it a couple more times (she’s 4 months old now) and will continue using it.

This dog shampoo is great. I have used it on my dachshund since she was little. It smells so good and fruity. My friend always says she has never smelled a dog that smelled so good. It does not burn their eyes and it lathers on very well. I can usually get around 50 washes per bottle so it is a great value . The one I use does not help with shedding but they do make a Tropiclean shedding shampoo that smells like coconut.

Works well on coats that are both solid and multi, colored, making the whites brighter. My dogs don’t mind leaving it on a couple of minutes. No purple staining as with human products. Smells nice without overpowering. I’ve not had any problems with skin irritation or scratching after use. There may be higher end products that work a little better, but I find this to be good value for the money as it cleans well and does brighten.

I’m not a fan of the shed control one, I usually use the oatmeal tea tree medicated one and it works well and leaves the hair clean and skin itch free. I thought I would try the shed control because the formula is similar and I thought the smell would be nice but it changes to a very funky smell while washing and then his skin was itchy again …so back to the oatmeal tea tree, which I highly recommend, and think it works pretty well for shedding and definitely better for allergy prone skin. Five stars for oatmeal, but it won’t let me review separately as it’s under the same listing.
