Super solide et pratique. Mon doberman de 50 kilos l’adore !
Rachel L. Phillips –
I can’t rave enough about this dog bed! We have had 2 of these (size L) for several years (and just purchased another – XL this time). We bought one for our labs. After a few years, the cover was finally worn. So, we bought a replacement cover and another full cot because all 4 wanted to use it. Even our largest lab (110 lbs lean) fit comfortably. It is raised just the right amount that even when they hit 14-15 years old and could barely walk, they could easily get up and down.
The covers are amazing! They withstand puppy chewing and constant use. They even hold up to small children cuddling with the dogs and maybe sometimes jumping in the cot… (no, I’ve never won parent of the year). Even the mesh portion is durable.
The best part for me is that the covers don’t absorb smells. I have a very sensitive sense of smell. I’ve never found a cushioned dog bed that doesn’t smell even after washing – or completely fall apart when washing. Our dogs thankfully don’t stink, but constant use will still cause odors in the cushioned beds.
Our Bernese Mountain Dog LOVED the breathable mesh when she was hot. We kept a blanket on the other for our Great Dane.
We rarely have to wash the covers, but when we do, it is easy to take the cot apart and put it back together, and it is still very stable.
The large is a great size, even for our 120-lb Great Dane. But we just purchased the XL because our 180-lb lean Mastiff hangs over the edges a bit.
The last great thing I wanted to post is that the dirt and hair don’t collect on the bed. It goes through. The cot is super easy to just lift and vacuum under. When our lab became incontinent, we placed pads under the cot to keep her from having to lay in her accidents until we could clean it up. It helped her skin from burning and didn’t ruin the floor or the bed. It was so easy to swap out the cover and wash it for her.

This is a perfect gift for my Schitzhu s. It’s a perfect height. My Schitzhus have short legs and are able to climb up just fine. These is great for the summer. It allows air circulation and a good rest bed when the concrete is a little warmer than usual. They seem yo like it. Good price. Good quality. Easy to assemble.

So far my dog loves this. We have an old bed for him that he loved and outgrew. Now we have a puppy as well (not sure my decision making skills are that great 👀🐕🤦♀️ Haven’t slept in days).
So our older boy got himself a fancy new bed that actually fits his 120# frame, and little Tova got the hand-me-down. Everyone wins.
What I particularly like is the added length compared to the old one. Hard to fit in our tiny house, but so are the dogs frankly. Loki, in typical GSD fashion, is longer than he is tall, so its perfect. I also like that bit of added height. I suspect the airflow on these hot summer days is improved from the 6″ height of the older bed.
The mesh in the center is a must if you have a heavy coated dog too. The pups (yes we have a geriatric old gal too) tend to prefer these beds to the tile floor which used to be the ‘it’ place to nap on a hot day.
The bed is lightweight, incredibly easy to put together, and seems sturdy enough. I am concerned about the velcro end in the long run, but worst case scenario, I have to stitch it down at some point. The good thing about the velcro is that it is a bit easier to put up and take down. I particularly like the center brace in the XL size, adds to the stability.
Not gonna lie, these aren’t going to be featured on a Better Homes and Gardens cover any time soon. They will never blend with our decor, but they are excellent training tools and give the pups a place, help elevate them, and are easy to travel with. Great investment all around if you have dogs.
* Forgive the blurry puppy pic. Tova had decided to use Loki as her personal slide at that moment. 😆 She should be grateful that he is a pretty chill dude.

24-Dec-7 UPDATE: All four beds are still going strong after two years. Vacuuming them often to minimize washing helped keep the mesh suspension portions going for awhile but we have had to improvise one sleeping surface as the original finally developed one too many tears. We aren’t upset about this at all and are actually impressed given how much use these beds see when they double as wrestling surfaces for my shepherds. The frames are all in 10/10 shape. It’s not often that I come across such a durable and worthwhile product as everything now seems to be built for continuous replacement.
23-Nov-30 UPDATE: Really, the final update this time. We’re one year in with these beds and are still without issue. Our dogs use them every day and night. They’re sagging a little more now than before but our dogs still love their beds. We wash the platforms only when we need to and instead, vacuum them daily to keep them clean. We’ve found that we only have to wash them after the dogs have spent hours on the beds, working on antlers or chunks of yak cheese. I think line drying has also contributed to the long service life. I’m happy to report that all four bedframes are still intact too so when the mesh finally fails, we will be able to make replacement beds with some time on the sewing machine. We (humans and dogs) are still super pleased with these beds!
23-May-23 UPDATE: This will be the final update for this product. All four beds are still 100% functional. We’ve had some frayed edges develop after numerous washings but nothing that prevents the use of these beds. Our dogs have grown slightly in size and still like to wrestle or run across their beds so these beds have certainly seen some use that results in wear. Six months and four beds later, we are very happy with these and will purchase more when these eventually fail. And failure isn’t a mark of poor quality! Filled beds need to be refreshed, renewed, and replaced too, just like a platform bed. These are consumable items and these beds were well-worth the cost given how much comfort they have provided and use they have endured.
23-Feb-27 UPDATE: All four beds are still in service with our dogs and going strong. No tears, no frayed edges despite numerous washings, no broken pieces. Our dogs still love their beds and use them daily/nightly. We have figured out a better way to reassemble the beds after washing though. We assemble the frame completely but leave the velcro undone. Brace the two corners of the frame with feet then stretch and pull the bed as tight as possible before folding over the frame. This results in a much tighter fit and less sag.
22-Nov-29 UPDATE: The first two beds we purchased were moved to a different part of the house while we waited for the second set. The second set was built and replaced the originals in the basement. I literally had my dogs sitting, waiting for me to complete assembling their beds. As soon as one was built, the male took it which was surprising given he is not the dominant one of the pair. The female continued to wait while I assembled the second bed, followed me as I was placing it and hopped on it literally as I was setting it down. I’d say it’s safe to say that my two dogs love their beds. In the picture, the male is on the left.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
We have a pair of German Shepherds. At the time of this writing, they have had these beds for about a week and are 11 months old. The larger of the two is a 110 pound male and relatively long while the smaller is an 80 pound female. This review is primarily about the male’s experience with the bed as the female is not nearly as selective about where she sleeps.
Despite daily grooming and the basement being kept at 68 degrees, he prefers to lay directly on the concrete slab rather than any bed or softer surface we have tried to offer him. Our best guess is the slab is the only surface that is able to wick away his body heat and keep him comfortable. That is, until we bought him the largest model of this bed and paired it with a fan. He immediately laid down on his bed and stretched out along the diagonal. His paws dangle off the edge ever so slightly but he doesn’t seem to mind. He frequently brings an elk antler or chunk of yak cheese to his bed to gnaw on it while laying down. During one of the first sessions on the bed, he discovered the raised manufacturer’s mark and gave it a few probing attempts but it didn’t yield and he hasn’t tried to remove it again. I did see the female give the mark a couple swipes with her paw but no other attempts than that.
The bed is very easy to assemble and disassemble for cleaning and portability. Both of our dogs enjoy their chews in their respective beds so the ability to clean it is important. As far as durability goes, our two have rough-housed on their beds without breaking anything. Their combined weight is close to 200 pounds however these beds are rated for 300 pounds and showed no signs of buckling under them. We have been pleased enough with these beds to order a second pair of them for another spot in the house.
