We have purchased these often for our labs and they remain a favorite occasional treat. The vet always comments on how clean the dog’s teeth are so I guess they are doing the trick. I also like the variety pack (I actually have a lab who hates peanut butter) so I appreciate treats with meat flavors. Trusted brand and consistent product.

I’ve been giving Pedigree Dentastix to my large breed dog (a 60 lb golden doodle) for a few months now, and I’m really pleased with the results so far. He absolutely loves them — it’s the one “treat” that he consistently gets excited for, even more than biscuits or jerky. I give him one a day after dinner, and it’s become part of his routine.

From what I can tell, the Dentastix do a decent job of freshening his breath. It’s not minty-fresh like a human mouth, but definitely an improvement from before. I’ve also noticed that the back teeth, where he chews the most, are looking a little cleaner and have less visible plaque. I wouldn’t expect miracles, but as part of a dental care routine, this is a solid addition.

The sticks are firm enough to provide a bit of chewing resistance but not so hard that he gives up or swallows it whole. They’re the right size for big dogs, and they don’t crumble or make a mess. One box lasts about a month, which is reasonable for the price.

I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because I’d love to see even more noticeable results on his front teeth, and I wish the breath-freshening effect lasted a bit longer. But overall, this is a great product that does what it promises. I’ll definitely keep buying them.

Love having these for my puppy! We give him one everyday, per the directions, and he loves having them. You would almost say that it is one of his most favorite parts of the day, when we say time to brush your teeth he goes to the door and waits.

Best part about these, when we took him in for his vet appointment they complimented on how clean his teeth are. We can’t take credit for it, this is all due to this amazing product!

These are a good value, especially if there is a coupon to use. The dog seems to enjoy them. He knows what I mean when I ask, “Do you want a chewie?”, and heads right to that treat canister! I have given him all kinds of dental treats over the past 4 years. These seem to be making a difference on his “canine” teeth. Other treats seem to miss those 4 teeth. I definitely recommend these.
