This is the best litter I’ve tried. It clumps really tight, which makes scooping so much easier, and it truly does a great job controlling odor. Even with multiple cats, my house doesn’t smell like a litter box. The 37 lb box is heavy, but it lasts a long time, so it’s worth it. My cats took to it right away with no issues. Definitely sticking with this brand!

This is the best cat litter by far!! The only one we will use for our two cats. Keeps the smell away and works really well in our litter robot.
Amazon Customer –
This is.the best cat litter that I have ever used! All my life I have had cats, and have been through mountains of litter, but for me they have all been ineffective or so very dusty that my kitty room looked like someone had sprinkled clay dust ALL OVER the room, but this litter has exceeded my expectations!! And number one after she goes I can’t detect any odor at all, in fact I have to check to make sure that she does go! And last but not least NO DUST, what else can you ask from a cat litter?? I have found a keeper with this litter

The clumping is the best but the litter is scented and it smells really bad on its own it smells like dirt mixed with perfume its a suffocating smell the whole room smells like theres something wrong.
It does a good job to hide the odor for a couple of days but it is bad smelling bc of the scent since day one.
Not buying again for that reason unfortunately but if theres a scent free litter from this company I would buy.

Arm and Hammer is the best cat litter you can have, forget about the fancy litters you find out there. This cat litter has no dust, leaves no odor in the house and it really stick the pee of my cat. When i started to have cats, i tried all litters and this is the best. The 30 dollars you pay for this 38 pounds is very worth it. Also, it last more than the rest.

Gracias!

This litter is luxury. It clumps very well and there is no odor. Yes, It can get slightly dusty but then they all do to a certain extent. If you can’t handle this then the other Arm and hammer multi cat is the next best option.
Let me try to find some cons as people usually go looking for these.
CONS:
The box is heavy. Would have been better if they sold it at 20 lbs per box
It’s hard to get. In UAE, it’s rarely in stock.

I had been using Dr. Elsey litter for a couple of years but it’s dusty, comes in a hard to handle 40 pound plastic bag that my cats love to rip open when I’m not looking and you can NEVER get a deal on it anymore. It’s 17.49 everywhere – almost like it was price-fixed at the end of 2017 across the board on Amazon, Chewy and Pet Smart.
This a review for the Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal so I’ll get on with that but you needed to know what changed my mind to use this product and not Dr. Elsey
Pro
-Very fine consistency, almost like coarse golf course bunker sand. That means it sifts effortlessly which reduces dust because you don’t have to shake the litter sifter.
-Comes in a cardboard box with a strap handle, NOT a plastic bag like Dr. Elsey. That makes Clump and Seal easier to transport, store, pour and the packaging is cat proof. I have to leave the Dr. Elsey litter in the Amazon shipping boxes to cat-proof them in my house. If you take the Dr. Elsey litter out of the box, it looks like you’re storing sand bags and the 40 pound bags are really hard for my wife to handle
-Clumps well and doesn’t “epoxy” itself to the bottom of the litter box like Dr. Elsey litter.
-The “tracking” of the litter by my cats outside the litter box has dropped 75% since I changed from Dr. Elsey litter. The Dr. Elsey litter turns to glue when it gets remotely damp and it sticks to the cats feet, the Arm and Hammer does not hence the great reduction in litter outside the box
-Cleans up far easier than Dr. Elsey. When it’s time to change and was wash the litter box, the finer granules of the Arm and Hammer product are easier to remove from the litter box and they don’t glue to the box when damp like the Dr. Elesy product
-I can go three weeks between litter box washing. I clean daily (2 cats) and add new litter as needed but the Arm and Hammer product does not smell at all after 2 weeks. That fact makes the Arm and Hammer product cheaper than Dr. Elsey.
Con (not really “cons”, more like observations about other customers “cons”)
-Many of the 1 star reviews are about the odor of this litter. It has an odor but it’s not bad. It’s better than the smell of cat crap. But if you are odor intolerant, you might not like this product but it doesn’t bother me
-Clump and Seal appears pricey. I only buy it when I can get a coupon deal because $24.99 IS pricey. Knock off $2 and add in the fact that you can use less of this product than Dr. Elsey due to the smaller granule size and it’s about the same price as the now “price-fixed” Dr. Elsey litter.
In summary, I’ll continue to use Clump and Seal based on my feature/benefit summary above. Your experience may vary. Happy litter box cleaning.

Best litter ever but so expensive, not sure how long I will be able to buy it. This time the box and the litter box arrived damaged and some of the litter poured out of the box. At that price, I do not want to lose any of it. Please make sure it is packaged safely so it does not happen again. I had to vacuum the rug in the hallway as there was litter on it. I live in a condo building.

I’ve been using this litter for the last 5 years, in different living configurations (house with basement, apartments with good litter box spaces, more cramped apartments without).
The good: This is consistently a great litter for odor control, even across lots. The clumping occurs quickly, and generally forms easily scooped clumps. The fine grains of the litter are very easy to scoop, and unclumped litter quickly falls through the scoop.
The middling: The litter color and quality varies a lot across lots/boxes. Sometimes I will get a box of dark gray litter that creates rock-hard clumps and has basically zero dust. Sometimes I’ll receive a box of light gray litter that releases dust clouds when I pour it in the box and forms slightly looser clumps. I’m not sure if this is normal for other litters or if it’s unique to this product, since I’ve stuck with this the longest.
The bad: This litter is very lightweight, which makes scooping a breeze, but it tracks EVERYWHERE, especially if you have a medium-long hair cat with paw tufts. This is fine if you have a separate space for litter boxes, like a basement, but it can be a nightmare for small apartments. If you have a robot vacuum and hardwood floors, the vacuum’s brush will often fling litter away instead of gathering it for the vacuum to collect, because the granules are so light.
