I’ve been using this flea treatment for about six months now on my two female cats (around 11 lbs each), and it’s worked perfectly. They’re mostly indoor kitties but go in the backyard sometimes, so I use this to prevent fleas and worms. I apply it directly to the back of their necks—it’s easy to use and very effective. The only tricky part is that my cats don’t like the smell and try to run away, so you have to be quick when applying it! The greasy spot it leaves on the area applied only lasts about a day and then clears up on its own. My cats stay healthy, happy, and completely flea-free.

Worked well for our cats. We have two three year old large maine coons and a four year old large rag doll. We used the Capstar pill first and then applied the Advantage topical 8 hours later. They had no reaction to the Advantage, aside from stopping itching. We travel with them and for the first time they picked up a few fleas during our recent September trip. So we wanted something pretty quickly to prevent the fleas from multiplying and causing ongoing issues. This combo worked well. We are noticing that they are scratching a bit now, but it is early for their second monthly treatment and we haven’t found any live fleas. So I’m not quite sure what the occasional itching is about now. Overall, this flea method worked well though. The capstar does make cats run and get agitated for an hour or so since it kills the fleas on them and I guess they feel the fleas moving on them as they die. Aside from zoomys, and excessive self grooming the first few hours after ingesting the Capstar pill, no other issues though. And there was no observable reaction to the Advantage topical at all.

My cats had fleas BAD, and this killed all the fleas that were on them, and it’s been killing them as they get on the cats. I haven’t noticed any side effects. There was no strong smell. Product was easy to open, easy to apply, and is working great.

This is the 4th product ive tried to treat my girl’s fleas with. The other ones, I think it wasnt enough because she is a Maine Coon. Even though she’s still a kitten technically, she is larger than most full grown cats already. I also tried a couple shampoos, and while they helped, only barely. I was at my wits end when a friend reccomend I look this one up. Sure enough, morning after application, I check her bedroom sleeping spots, and they are dying and falling off. So, it went to work right away. She is scratching less, and seems more relaxed. She has had no side effects, no salivating or vomiting or anything. Just dead fleas. So, worth the money. This will be my new flea medication to keep my girl happy and healthy and without irritation.

I’ve been using Advantage II for my large cat (over 12 lbs), and it’s the only flea treatment I fully trust. Within just a day of applying it, I noticed a big difference—scratching stopped, and I wasn’t finding fleas on her bedding anymore. By the second day, the fleas were completely gone.
Application is simple: just part the fur at the base of the neck and apply directly to the skin. My cat tolerates it well, and the formula dries quickly without leaving a greasy mess. I also appreciate that it’s waterproof after 24 hours, so I don’t have to worry if she gets into a little rain or needs a bath.
The 4-month supply is cost-effective compared to buying single doses, and I like knowing I can stay ahead of any infestations. This product really delivers on prevention as well—no fleas have come back in between monthly doses.
If you have a bigger cat and need something safe, effective, and vet-recommended, this is an excellent choice. It gives peace of mind and keeps both your cat and your home flea-free. Highly recommend!

Have used for a long time but it just doesn’t work in the forested states. Worked fine in California but not in Oregon or Washington. The vet says those states fleas are super fleas which is why it is not enough.

I was skeptical at first if this would work or not since I have four cats and there was a lot. Between bathing, using the flea comb and spraying their room, it was hard to get rid of the infestation. After applying the treatment to all four cats, I started to see improvement within a few days. I used a flea comb to check for any signs of fleas but there wasn’t.

Chose this instead of Frontline I used years ago as reviews said FL was not as effective as before. Very happy with this product as far as ease of use, no smell, and no side effects to my cat. My cat is an inside cat but we have a lot of wildlife and stray cats around out property so using this as insurance!
