Works great! Wish the whole thing was a little longer. I have large hands & it feels awkward & small. Other than that, it works great! It’s a little noisy but that doesn’t bother me. Haven’t had it long enough to comment on the battery life. It does feel like I have cleaner teeth & think it’s well worth the small price I paid.

this is a great toothbrush. it works well, and the battery life is great. the bristles are soft but stern, allowing for my teeth to feel cleaner than they have before! extremely easy to use and not a lot of weight. i recommend this toothbrush!

I first tried the Philips Sonicare 4100. The it vibrated at high frequency with an up and down motion, and transmitted an unpleasant buzz through my head when the solid head touched my teeth. I gave up on it as a toothbrush and consigned to the tool collection, where it is useful in cleaning grout lines.
A neighbor couple said they used rechargeable Oral-B’s, and kept battery powered Oral-B’s in their travel kits. So I got the battery model for $15. The vibrations are low frequency and gentle, the brushes’ back and forth rotary motion is natural and pleasant, and the solid head causes no discomfort when it touches the teeth. I have had it for 3 weeks and the batteries are unaffected. I really enjoy using it and can feel how much better it is than hand brushing.
I bought a ten-pack of heads at Costco for $45. The box says replace when the green bristles turn yellow. The friend says he has not seen that yet, and he replaces their heads every 6 months.
