This mousse gives my hair noticeable lift and body while still feeling soft and touchable. It doesn’t leave behind a sticky or crunchy texture which is rare for thickening products. A little goes a long way and it holds my style all day. I also like that it layers well with other styling products without weighing my hair down. Definitely one of my favorite mousses for volume and bounce!

I have very limp, fine hair, and this foam does give good body. My only problem with it is, if you use too much, it stiffens the hair so much you wind up breaking the hairs as you try to brush it so be careful – you don’t need as much as you do with other products. It works, but as with all foams, it does dull the hair a bit so I combine it with another product to get my hair to really shine. I use their extra volume shampoo also, and both have a nice oder which is freash, but not overpowering.

I really love this product as far a volume and that it is lightweight on my short straight color treated hair! The only reason why I have had to give it three stars is the fact it has dried out my hair. It has dried it out so that I have to change my shampoo and conditioner, my hairstylist has had to treat my hair for the dryness, and I have added a leave in product to try to combat the dryness. Even with all the changes this product still dries out my hair. It is frustrating because it actually gives my hair the volume I need for a bob but I cannot keep damaging my hair. I’m going to try to find something that will give me the volume of this product without the damaging results. I wish it could be reformulated. The Kenra 12 Mousse is runny. I took to my hairstylist and she had to really shake it hard to produce a head of foam from it. Plus when I use it I do not get the same results from it as I do with the Platinum Thickening Mousse. Wish me luck to find something that works as far as volume but without the drying effects.

I had a sample of this that was given to me. That mousse was thicker and smelled great. This one does ok but isn’t the same.

I’ve been searching my whole life for something to give me volume for my thin hair. But this.This! Is a must! I was on Tik Tok and tried this volume mouse and that did nothing for my thin hair and it didn’t even last long. This product last for days until hair wash day for me. Holds perfectly. Shines great, functionality is amazing and I’m definitely going back for more.
