Swan Creek’s candles is my favorite candle brand, and the Roasted Espresso is in my top three favorite scents that they carry. This scent has a strong cold throw as well as when burning – and it will fill any room it is burning in and beyond.
Scents are such a personal preference to everyone, and whether or not this is an actual ‘espresso’ scent really doesn’t matter to me – I smell this to be a good strong, dark coffee bean scent – and what’s not to love about that?!
The 24 oz size is the best value, in my opinion (unless you get the refill container.) I tend to burn my candles for hours and hours at a time enjoying the scent, so I go through candles more quickly. I have noticed that Swan Creek’s candles seem to last longer than many other candles that I have tried… thus my returning again and again to purchase from them.
Speaking of refills, these Swan Creek glass jars are reusable – just clean out the old wax with a paper towel when it is burned down, take out the old wick base, hot glue a new wick inside (the correct size wick for the jar), and pour in the melted refill wax of choice. Let it set up (hold the wick in place wrapped over a chop stick or something before trimming down ) and you have another candle for less money. Simple. (Look for refill wax containers and wick packages from Swan Creek.)
The seller (Lampstand) shipped the glass jar candle very – very well packed – and to me-it is worth the extra shipping charge to have it arrive undamaged.

First, I must admit that this candle did not exactly provide the authentic coffee smell I was looking for. So if you are looking for a true coffee scent, I found Lulu Candles “Espresso Bean” to be much closer to the smell of fresh brewed coffee. However, I am SO HAPPY I bought this candle because it has now become my all-time favorite candle. The smell is coffee-like and sweet in the best way. Some candles irritate my allergies but this brand does not, plus it lasts forever and the scent really fills the room. Even unlit, when I come home I am amazed at how wonderful my house smells. Since buying this candle here, I have purchased many more candles and wax melts direct from Swan Creek. I don’t know how long the wax melts last because I have been using them for weeks and they still smell great! Yankee Candles are good, but Swan Creek candles are better.

Very pleased with how strong the scent is. Even just the lid in my kitchen alone had the scent in there lol while i love how strongbthe scent is it smells more like sweet hazelnut coffee than espresso so its not what i was looking for and plan to gift it cuz its annoying me. Even the sticker on it says coffee but then espresso. Those are 2 different scents to ME. Its great product at a fair price so still gets 5 stars. It will be a great gift!

I’ve gotten this candle two years in a row at BassPro but it burns out fast, so I found this larger one on Amazon. It smells the same but it’s just sloppy looking. The label (even though I attempted to fix it) was crooked and bubbled. The inside looks like it was not fully melted during the making process. I don’t care about it, but someone else might. Smells great, which is all that matters.
