This candle was just delivered this afternoon and I’m already burning it and it smells amazing! We have 4 dogs and Im always mindful of any scents that I bring into the house because of them (since their sense of smell is 4x ours). I purchased Ocean Mist and (to me) it has light airy notes of fresh and clean ocean air. I will definitely be buying again and want to try the other scents as well!

Sand + Fog are manufacturing a line called Sand + Paw and it is safe around pets. I purchased one earlier in TK Maxx and it was great, but they didn’t have it in stock when we ran out, so I ordered from Amazon. They sent a normal Sand + Fog candle, which I’m sure is great and good quality, but I wanted the Sand + Paw as in the description as I have 3 dogs. Therefore, I sent the item back.

This product has a very strong scent. It’s wonderful for making your home smell really great quickly. However, the scent can quickly become overwhelming, so if you want a candle to burn for long-term ambiance this may not meet your needs.

I love the Beach House scent!!! A perfect scent for a beachy, summer smell. I also really like the wooden top which goes well with my home decor.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to let people know how well this works. We moved into a new home and clearly they had some animal issues and the basement often smells like pet urine. I think we will eventually need to replace the floors, but in the meantime, burning this candle literally cancels the smell. I’ve used many different products to try and clean the floor and mask the smell, but this candle is the only thing that has worked so far. I wish the price was a bit lower, but it’s worth it, especially when we have guests over.

I usually leave the lids on my candles when they are not in use to retain the scent, and they look nice – so the lid of this product was a bit of an unwelcome surprise! I’m a female dog owner and the image on the site indicated the lid was neutral – not for a childish image for a cat owning man! When I took the lid off to smell (which is nice, so I’d recommend amber and fig) the candle was clearly lose in the glass container and actually tipped out completely – it looks like a second hand gift that has been resold, this could be unfair, but this isn’t a cheap candle – I love Sand + Fog, but this has been disappointing.
