These are some very nice soap bars, they have a nice thick lather, almost like shaving soap lather, and both smell very good. I was a little bummed the scent doesn’t last longer but that’s been my experience with every soap I’ve tried. These are very nice soap bars, I may buy them again but they are pricey, even when compared to other luxury soap bars

I ordered this soap for my husband but lately he tweaks out over the word “fragrance” in ingredient lists and refused to use it. So, I ended up using it. As a women, I adore this soap and it has become my favorite over other brands.
**The Good**
* Gender neutral fragrance while washing (At first it smells like a Forrest then transitions into rough choppy ocean on a gloomy day)
* Leaves a slight fragrance on skin (like rain falling on hot concrete)
* Leaves skin feeling squeaky clean
* Deodorizes
* Only need a little to produce a thick foam (like barber shop shaving cream)
* Only bar soap I have used that works well with a silicone scrubber
* Tightened the pores on my face
* Helps skin and hair dry faster after a shower
* Even though I ended up being the guinea pig… It short circuited my brain… and made me all hot… Gods, I wish my husband showered in this stuff.
**The Bad**
* Dries skin out
Update: I am half way through the bar. The scent and the strange effect on me does not last past the half way point. I started noticing it waning at the 25% used mark. Now, it smells like a unscented bar of soap. This is why I deducted a star.
Overall, I would purchase this soap. If my husband washed with this, I would definitely “jump” him ; ) because of its deodorizing properties and scent.

Some reviews are saying the soap doesn’t lather with a lot of foam etc, that’s simply not true. This is the most foaming soap I’ve ever used and I’ve tried them all from Duke, Sasquatch, to more expensive Massey brands and homemade boutique brands. This soap smells incredibly good and produces a super lather. This was after one wash, so we will see how well the scent holds up in the bar, but so far I’m super impressed with this soap and will buy more.

The tin is gorgeous but that’s the best part of this soap. I mean it’s beautiful and well made. The second one will be a gift from me and I’m keeping one but as far as the soap itself? Mid.
It’s not bad but it’s very underwhelming for this price. Essentially you are paying for the tin let’s just be honest.
The scent is great but it’s too weak and subtle. Can smell it on the bar but when wet in shower it disappears. Lathers about as much as any soap not some exceptional lather like they claim. Also I’m a fan of larger bar soaps and this one isn’t that. Doesn’t leave skin extra moisture or extra clean feeling, just utterly forgettable experience.
