I am what you would call a “fragrance enthusiast,” and I’ve been on a mission for years to find a scent that is both unique and comforting, something that feels like a warm hug but also has a certain sophistication. I’ve tried everything from high end niche perfumes to popular designer brands, and a lot of them just fall flat or smell like everyone else. When I saw the reviews for Bella Vista Luxury Honey Oud, I was intrigued but also a little skeptical. Could it really live up to the hype?
The package arrived, and I was immediately impressed. The box itself was ok but the weight of the glass feels substantial in my hand, and the gold accents on the cap and label are a beautiful touch. The size is a generous 3.4 fl. oz (100ml), which is perfect for someone like me who knows they will be using this fragrance often. It feels like a genuine luxury product, not something you’d expect at this price point.
Now, for the most important part: the scent. Oh. My. Goodness. The first spray was a revelation. It opens with a burst of sweetness from the honey and a subtle zing from the bergamot. It’s not a cloying, sugary sweetness, though. It’s a rich, deep, and golden honey that feels truly edible. As it dries down, the oud comes forward. I was a little nervous about the “oud” note, as it can sometimes be overpowering or too medicinal, but in this fragrance, it’s blended beautifully. It adds a smoky, woody, and slightly mysterious depth that perfectly balances the sweetness of the honey. The rose note is there in the background, a soft, velvety whisper that keeps the whole composition from becoming too heavy.
The longevity is incredible. I sprayed it on my wrist in the morning, and I could still smell it on my skin and on my jacket at the end of a long day. Key to longevity is spraying on moisturized skin. It projects well without being offensive, it’s not a scent that walks into a room before you do, but it’s one that will definitely earn you compliments from people who are close to you.
This is a perfect fragrance for a cozy night out, a special occasion, or even just for a mood-boosting day at the office. It’s warm, inviting, and truly beautiful. I finally found my signature scent. If you’re looking for something that is both gourmand and sophisticated, something that smells expensive without the shocking price tag, you have to try this. It’s a masterpiece in a bottle, and I’m already planning to buy another one before I even get halfway through this one.

One of my boyfriends favorite scents on me.. I honestly did not expect this to smell the way it does. I can definitely smell the spice in this perfume it smells so good. The smell is more strong when you first put it on then it dies down after a couple of minutes and you can only smell it when someone is intimately close to you. Regardless it’s definitely a good perfume to add to the collection of one of my everyday wears for the fall/winter

2nd Update 10/17/25:
I started using this in april of 2024. It’s still my daily choice of perfume. Just today, someone kindly asked me what I was wearing after smelling me in front of her in a parking garage! I showed her the Amazon listing and BOOM, she’s gonna buy it. At this point, I don’t want anything but this perfume. Take the blind leap of faith with your sniffer ☝️

I’ve been using this perfume for approximately 4ish months now. My original review said the scent lasted a while, but I do think it actually wears off quickly. I find myself reapplying it at least 1-2 times throughout the day. However, literally never in my life have I had so many complete and random strangers approach me about my scent. Everywhere I go, someone starts sniffing the air and says something smells really good. I held a baby for a few minutes and someone could smell my perfume on the baby and said it smelled good. Random women at work constantly tell me I smell amazing. Women tend to love the smell. I had a woman approach me in the grocery store and said she was a scent connoisseur and asked me what I was wearing because she loved it so much. She was shocked when I told her how affordable the scent was. I frequently get comments like “you smell like luxury” or “you smell expensive”! My coworkers sniff my like a dog sometimes!!! The scent has definitely grown on me and I really enjoy the woody and spicy yet also very sweet scent. If you are contemplating purchasing it, DO IT. You will thank yourself later because people will be all over you about how delicious you smell, especially once the scent settles into your skin and melds with your natural pheromones. This scent is definitely an attention grabber and makes you feel sexy and mysterious and flirty! This literally has become my daily perfume despite the fact that I previously decided it wouldn’t be based on a one time use. If you buy and don’t love it right away, use it for a week and the rethink your decision! I originally gave it 4 stars, but I’m giving it 5 now.

The scent does last quite a while. I sprayed some on me in the evening because I wanted to smell the new scent and I caught some scents of it lingering the next morning. The scent is sweet and thick. It has slight hints of citrus but the vanilla and patchouli are the strongest notes. The spice is also a bit stronger than I’d personally prefer however, it’s still quite nice. It’s a great date night scent. It reminds me of the bath and body scents but with better quality and way longer lasting. I wouldn’t necessarily pick it as a daily perfume but a great addition to the collection for when I’m feeling spicy and sexy. I’m excited to try more scents!
