I absolutely love this product. After the first use, I saw and felt the difference in my face specifically, my forehead and crows feet. My forehead wrinkles were less visible and my skin felt tight after only one use. There was no discomfort and it was very easy to use. I am very excited to continue to use this product and recommend this product if you are looking for a natural and non-surgical way to have a more lifted and tightened face.

In its 32 page manual, the WarmDerm has three instructions for use:
1. Treat once every 3-4 days.
2. For rough, dry, or aging skin, take 3-4 days apart, and
3. For good skin conditions, operate at 1-2 day intervals.
There are no directions for how long (10-30 minutes) to set the device for…or what level (1-5) to use to either tighten skin on different body parts (face, neck, buttocks etc.) or to reduce fat for contouring.

I ASKED THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS IN WARMDERM’S WEBSITE CHAT. THEY HAVE NOT REPLIED WITH ANSWERS.
Do I use RF or EMS mode for tightening skin on facial /neck wrinkles and at what level and how long? I HAVE NO IDEA.
Do I use RF or EMS mode for contouring waist and stomach and at what level and how long? I HAVE NO IDEA.
How do I use device to tighten skin on buttocks and breasts without losing fat? I HAVE NO IDEA.
In addition, even though “EMS is on my device (under RF), there is NO button or switch to activate it….it never lights up like “RF” does. Is the EMS on my device broken? I HAVE NO IDEA.

At what setting might radiofrequency-induced fat atrophy (unintended and irreversible fat loss in the face and body) occur from using the wrong level for too long? I HAVE NO IDEA.
What level is too low and time too short to see no results? I HAVE NO IDEA.

The science says that it reduces wrinkles which I want, but it also says that it reduces fat that my very tiny frame does not need.

I’ve been using the device for about a month, but with no clear instructions on how to use it to achieve desired results, I am sending it back and am praying that I have not permanently damaged my face and body….BUT, AGAIN, I HAVE NO IDEA.

The message from WarmDerm was not helpful because the company sent me their standard template response that offered me a refund instead of answering my questions on how to use the device and the EMS feature.

Offering a refund saying, “Let’s just give her the money back.” is an easy and unprofessional way out of satisfying a customer’s request for additional information. (And, incidentally, I am a senior on a fixed income so I can REALLY use the money, but more than that, I want to know how to use the device so I can benefit from RF.)
Again, I cannot for the life of me understand why they cannot tell me, for example: “for mature skin use it every third day for 30 minutes at level three and depending on your skin you should see some results in five mos.”

Hope other buyers have more luck and I do mean luck with the device and customer service than I have had.

3. Energy Levels (1–5)

Level 1–2: Suitable for beginners, sensitive skin, and facial areas (fine wrinkles, neck).

Level 3–4: For normal skin, targeted lifting on cheeks, jawline, and décolleté.

Level 4–5: For thicker skin areas such as abdomen, waist, thighs, or buttocks.

4. Mode Selection (RF vs. EMS)

RF (Radio Frequency): Main function is skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, and collagen stimulation. Recommended for face, neck, abdomen, waist, thighs, buttocks, and breasts (focus on tightening, not fat reduction).

EMS (Microcurrent): Provides muscle stimulation and skin firming, especially beneficial for facial lifting and contouring. EMS is usually combined with RF mode in your device, so you may not see a separate “EMS” light—it works simultaneously under the RF program, and this is normal.

5. Safety Against Fat Atrophy

WarmDerm operates within a safe energy range for home use. At normal recommended levels and times, it does not cause deep fat atrophy.

To avoid over-stimulation, always start at the lowest level and gradually increase as your skin adapts.

Continuous use at high levels (5) for excessively long sessions (over 30 minutes per area) is not recommended, as it may lead to discomfort rather than improved results.

6. Expected Results

Too low a level or too short a session (under 5 minutes per area) may not deliver visible effects.

Consistency is key—results usually become noticeable after 4–6 weeks of correct use.

7. Reassurance
From your description, since you have been using the device for about a month, it is very unlikely that you have caused permanent fat loss or damage. The design is for safe, cosmetic-level skin tightening and rejuvenation. If you have any unusual sensations (persistent redness, pain, or swelling), please discontinue use temporarily and consult a dermatologist.

I was skeptical before trying this product but after using consistently, can already see benefits. When I received the product, it was packaged very well, and the instructions were super easy to follow – which I can appreciate! The device itself it’s pretty compact and easy to store. I’ve used other devices in the past that were very confusing to set up/use and this was very straightforward. Pro Tip – make sure to use a THICK layer of the gel provided over the area you intend to use this device on. It will eliminate discomfort and allow the radio frequency to activate and penetrate the skin. I’ve been using the facial tip for 10 minutes every other night and have noticed my skin texture has smoothed and the contours of my face have become more detailed. I think this is due to the collagen boosting and lymphatic drainage benefits of radio frequency devices. This is by far the best professional grade at home device I’ve used!
