As a serious tumbler enthusiast (I love my pink one and the Vivid Violet Stanley!), I’ve been on the lookout for a high-capacity bottle that I can toss in a bag without any hesitation. The Owala FreeSip 40oz is the bottle that finally gives me that confidence.

Just got the Owala 30oz water bottle with bucket handle. It checks all the boxes. Nice, easy to use handle. Chug capability without any chance of dripping on your shirt. Easy to wash, as top is wider than bottom. I can remove the straw for less plastic contact with drink. It keeps ice amazingly cold even after my long walks. Fits all cup holders. Someone put significant design thought into this one. It’s definitely the new standard for a quality water bottle!

Nothing better than an Owala! They keep making it better. Lockable lid, handle to carry, free sip or gulp but the absolute best feature is the tapered design. Update: I usually put just a small handful of ice but the water bottle doesnt keep it cold. When put a lot of ice it stays cold but the straw tends to fall out which nobody wants to touch the straw when out and about.
I originally did not want to buy the owala because everyone had it but after trying a few different water bottles this fit all the needs that I wanted

• wide very comfy top handle bc I hate the side handle and sometimes it’s too narrow
• sip and chug and bc of the chug the sip is very smooth bc of the airflow also plus bc the mouth piece is wide so no lip wrinkles
• covered mouth piece bc germs
• leakproof with a locking mechanism
• aesthetic with the 3 different colors but still simple.

Love it! Colors true to description and photos. Love the lock feature so it doesn’t flip open unexpectedly. The new design with the straw or “spout” is nice as well. I love the handle, traveling through the airport I was able to just attach the water bottle with a carabiner to my back instead of having it take up space inside.
