Savvy shopper –
This is a very large bag. I won’t use it often because it is too large
Item is not the same as in die picture. There are differences in the frame construction and graphics supplied. Compared to other products, not very stable/sturdy table. –
Excellent spacious and strong

The Rockland rolling duffel bag is a fun, affordable travel companion, perfect for weekend trips or light travel. It’s spacious, easy to roll, and comes in tons of cool colors. The extra pockets are super handy too.
It’s not the toughest bag out there, so don’t overload it, but for the price, it’s a great grab!
Maurice Barry –
For the price it’s great. Not for heavy-duty use but for the casual traveler it’s just fine.

Great for carry-on
I purchased this Rockland 22″ duffel bag with wheels because I have had a good experience with them. My previous Rockland 22″ duffel bags were purchased elsewhere in 2015. The bag was carried on and fit in the overhead bin of the plane perfectly. I like to travel with Delta and use them as our carry-on with no issues. I did check it a few times due to the amount of luggage I had, and it held up to the flight with no problem. It’s a durable bag. I do like the two front pockets on it too because you can put extra stuff in it like you’re charging cords, earphones, and things you want to get too quickly.
I can pack enough clothes, toiletries, a swimsuit, and flip-flops for a seven-day trip in the bag. I have larger suitcases, but for the price of checking bags ($35.00), purchasing this one made my trip easy by not needing to check a bag.
The wheels are strong and held up well. IF you are trying to run, your bag may wobble unless it is complete and balanced. I also looked at many different bags like this, but many of them didn’t have the shoulder strap I like. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry to get a flight, I just put it over my shoulders like a duffel bag, and I can move faster. Then there are two strong handles so you can carry it upright, the same way a shoulder stat would. Plus, there’s an additional handle, so you can grab it quickly when you first put the bag on the wheels. That might seem like a little thing, but it matters to me if you’re trying to make a flight. Otherwise, pulling them around has not been an issue. I have, however, noticed the wheels on this new bag are just as strong as the ones on the new bag as the ones I had previously. I like the strong wheels because it doesn’t fall over when you’re trying to move quickly. The zipper is robust and durable.
Furthermore, I didn’t have to worry about it popping open as I traveled. I like the handle too. It’s powerful and it’s extendable when I fly. I want to put the handle in and zip it up so it’s not sticking out of the overhead bin.
After many flights across the country, it has lasted for about 10 years. Plus, on several car trips around the states, the inside material of the bag was starting to shed little pieces. I probably would have used them a few more times, but the last time I checked, they opened up the handle, pulled it out, and lifted it with the handle. In the end, it wouldn’t go back in anymore. I think 10 years is a long time for a piece of luggage to last if you use it a lot.
Finally, there were little pieces that were falling off the inside of the bag, and it was just starting to happen, but it was my last trip with this bag.

This bag is very well made and has an easy to identify pattern. It is the right size for a carry on in the overhead bin, but also sturdy enough to be used as a checked bag. I started out my trip with under 10 kilos in the bag and I used it as a carry on, but I ended my trip with it packed to the brim and weighing over 15 kilos and needing to be checked. It’s convenient to carry as a duffle bag or roll, and the capacity is truly surprising. I’m very glad I bought this bag and would definitely recommend it to others.

I absolutely love this duffle bag. I bought it as I daily bring workout clothes and other items to work. I have to cross a long, large parking lot to get to my building each days The inside of the bag is extremely roomy, and easily holds all of my workout clothes, including sneakers, as well as my lunch bag and any other items I need to bring in to work. There are 4 pockets on the front. 2 larger ones hold my headphones and items like deodorant and the 2 smaller ones I use for my hair ties and other small accessories. The inside is made with nylon that is amazingly smell resistant and easy to clean.
This bag has everything. You can easily extend and retract the metal handle in order for it to roll and, if you aren’t going to be using the handle, it zips up and out of sight and out of the way. There is the standard shoulder strap that if you aren’t using it you can clip it down with 2 attached snaps that hold it in place so it doesn’t drag on the ground. Or, if you don’t want it on there at all, it clips off easily. There is also a nylon handle on the same side as the extendable handle so you can easily grab it for going up stairs or over an obstacle without retracting the handle or trying to grab the top of the bag.
I have previously owned a cheapo rolling bag and the wheels would stick and sounded like a freight train when you rolled it. This bag rolls smoothly and easily and relatively quietly.
Although I use it more as a gym type bag, I think this would be perfect for an overnight bags and would be ideal for a carry-on for the airport.
This is a high quality, sturdy and attractive bag and I highly recommend it.
