This is a very good lighter for a few reasons. does the job very nicely; I use it mostly for candles and it is great. Its rechargeable that means no nasty gases or .. and more importantly it is something you can use for quite a while which doesn’t make nasty rubbish like gas lighters.

Updated review: after posting my initial review, the seller reached out to me and sent a replacement. Hopefully this one will last longer, but I do have to give five stars for their customer service.

Wow! What a great tool. The ignitor on my stove works half of the time. The other half I use this electric lighter. Beats matches or a bic lighter by a mile. SUPRUS Electric Lighter are reliable and failure free. Easy to charge too!

Well, for the two years it worked, it was phenomenal. Unfortunately, it now refuses to charge. The length of a charge is amazing though; I only charged it four times since I bought it, and I was using it sometimes several times a day. I used it for incense and I don’t think the prongs are wide enough to easily use it to light cigarette. Candles and incense are what this is made for.
The body definitely feels cheap, but the slide action feels well made and sharp, and doesn’t stick at all. The prongs are housed in plastic and accumulate soot readily. You should clean the diodes when it gets sooty as it tends to impede the direction of the arc.
It lights about as well as a match, taking the same time to light incense and candles alike. If you’re looking for speed, go with a butane lighter, this guy’s strength is not running out of fuel, not lighting things on fire quickly.
As far as the noise, yes it does have the electric whine as all lighters do but it’s not worse than any other. The extension and retraction of the prongs have a satisfying click at the end of the slide.
Overall, I’d say this is a good lighter, though it should last longer than two years for what it cost.
Last thing: it charges with USB c and does come with a very short charging cable. No wall wart though.

I needed a lighter to light my candles and I thought this would be interesting and useful. I was right, it’s so easy to use. I love that it’s long so you don’t burn yourself trying to light a candle. It’s also really cool that you can just charge it and your good to go. I use it daily because I love my candles and it’s worked perfectly and real easy to recharge. I probably won’t use any other type of lighter again.

I love this new technology for a candle lighter. It holds a charge for a long time and I’m lighting candles 1-2 times per day. This item works effectively at lighting the candles wick in a deep jar. It’s easy to use, pretty, and thin and long. I’m very pleased with mine.

I needed a candle lighter. CVS had BIC lighters on sale at a good price. Problem was, the child proof feature made them unusable because of my 72-year old fingers. Threw them away. So, I found this SUPRUS lighter and I am EXTACTIC!! It is easy to use, easy to recharge and the charge lasts a good while.
