I was hesitant to get this because I’m not a fan of things with builtin batteries. I do own a slightly larger Olight that takes AAA so figured I’d try this for something even more compact. It now has a permanent spot in my EDC!
Charging is easy and it is so tiny I barely notice it in my bag. The light is also SUPER bright! More than you’d expect for something this size. Another small plus, since it’s magnetic I can attach it to my glasses and have a makeshift headlamp.
The only con (besides the builtin battery) is the clip it came with and how it attaches. It’s a bit annoying needing to take it apart to charge it. They should have included a s-biner for easier connecting/disconnecting to things – I ended up finding a spare and using that instead of the included clip.

This is the baddest little flashlight I have ever come across. I have been looking for one an an EDC but could never find that perfect one that’s a combo of small size, functionality, brightness and long life. It’s so light you don’t even know it’s in your pocket. It’s one compact unit with no charger cable required, just plug it into a base or usb outlet to charge. The best part is there are no buttons to mess around with, simply separating it from its base to turn it on. Put it back in its base to turn it off. It’s secured by an extremely strong magnet, very little to no chance it will come off its base at all. For the EDC category, this is hands down the best flashlight you need to own

This little Olight flashlight is so incredibly useful and well-designed that I had to buy four of them just to make sure I have one everywhere I might need it. I keep one on my keychain, one on my backpack, one in my truck, and I’ve already given one away as a gift because I’m so impressed.
It puts out the perfect amount of light for a huge variety of tasks. I’ve used it for everything from traversing the yard in the dark and checking the chicken coop for raccoons, to more mundane things like finding lost items under the couch. Its compact size makes it ideal for close-quarters work, like when I had to work on the inside of my furnace.
What truly sets this light apart are its brilliant features. The magnetic base is an absolute game-changer, allowing you to stick it to any metal surface in tight spaces where propping up a normal flashlight would be a frustrating nightmare. The charging method is genius—you just unlatch the end with the carabiner to reveal a USB-A plug that goes right into any standard port. It also has a rubber cover to keep the plug safe from dust, debris, and moisture. Olight even included a tiny charge indicator light, which is one of those small, thoughtful features that puts this product over the top.
O-Light did an amazing job with this. It is, without a doubt, the best keychain light I can think of. In fact, everyone on my list is getting one in their stocking for Christmas this year. Highly recommended!

Great edc. Very convenient, quick, and easy to deploy. It’s very bright for its size but not too bright. The battery lasts quite a while and charges surprisingly quick. I have noticed that vibrations mess with the light by making it flicker, not a deal breaker for me as it’s designed to be hand held and not set down for use. Over all very pleased with this powerful, yet tiny light. I have many flashlights but this is by far my new favorite!

Nice, light weight light that I have attached to my back pack on those occasions when I am in low light situations and need to dig around in my backpack on in my general vicinity. This light is perfect and what I was looking for. It is two pieces connected by a magnet. As the second piece is removed from the base it turns the light on. The magnet itself is relatively strong and the second piece sits up into the base, so I honestly don’t see how it could accidentally be bumped in a way to make it come loose.
One bonus I found is that it is USB-A rechargeable so you can just plug it in to charge. Comes with a nice little plastic cover to protect the USB-A male piece from damage. Feels well built.
Overall, I think this is an excellent value for your money and I can recommend. If this changes, I will update the rating accordingly.
