I bought this lighter August 2023 and it worked fine and I got many uses out of it-more than I would’ve gotten out of a normal lighter. I was hoping it would last a little longer because i really did like using it however at nearly 2 years of consistent use the lighter battery refused to recharge any longer.

Functions well. It you have it on a candle wick tooong it does turn off.

MEIRUBY Lighter Electric Candle Lighter -Rose Gold, arrived damaged in a amazon shipping box with paper filler.
Upon opening the box, I saw the lighter box inside the shipping box was scuffed, crushed on one end in two placed, and appeared previously opened.
Likely this was a re-packaging/return problem, not a shipping problem and not a problem with original item quality.
I removed the lighter from it’s own box to find the lighter itself crushed/bent in two places and scratched on the rose-gold paint. I think the item was not intended to be re-sold, but was.
I own a previously gifted color of this same lighter and know it is excellent quality, holds a long charge, allows the user to see the wick being lit (as opposed to other versions where it
s impossible to see if it’s able to touch the wick or be close to the wick).
Aside from this isolated re-packaging and shipping issue, the product itself is excellent, of excellent quality, and highly recommended.

Loved it when I first got it, but it doesn’t charge. I couldn’t even charge it ONCE after the charge died the first time. Only after this happened did I find another review saying the same thing.

I only had it for a few weeks and tried to charge it on my cell phone’s cord, but it wouldn’t charge. I read the q&a and realized that you have to use a lower powered cord and that got the charging light to come on, so I thought all was well.
Then, an hour later, I came back and the charging light was off. The lights would no longer come on and the power button didn’t work. It was aggravating and I started a return through Amazon. I unplugged it and the lights came on! It is fully charged.
Apparently, you can not operate it in anyway if it is plugged in to charge. Just wanted to share as an FYI. Of course, I canceled the return.
All is well over here and I love this thing!

Great for lighting the fire especially if you’re a little afraid of fire.
You can’t use a newer cable like a USB C to USB C cable because it will not charge you’ll have to use a USB A to USB C cable.
