I recently tried Hot Hands, and I am incredibly impressed with their performance. These hand warmers are incredibly effective, providing consistent warmth for hours, which is perfect for cold weather activities like hiking, skiing, or even just waiting for the bus on a chilly morning. They’re easy to use—just open the package, shake them up, and they start warming up almost immediately. They’re compact, lightweight, and fit comfortably in pockets or gloves without feeling bulky. I’ve used several brands in the past, but Hot Hands definitely stand out for their long-lasting heat and reliable quality. Highly recommend for anyone who needs a quick and efficient way to stay warm!

Loved it

Have now used a whole box. See the price has risen by about £10. Only last about 12 hours. Small version lasts the same. Says “open here” on side of individual packs but (unlike on the small ones) there is no nick to easily tear open and scissors are needed to (carefully) open the packs.

These hand warmers are perfect for people with Raynard’s which is a circulation problem in the fingers and toes. The Body & Hand Super Warmers are Long Lasting and they are a Safe and natural way to keep your digits warm. I just tried the extra large size and just love them.
They work great when hiking if you put them in your mittens and boots. They also work great when you throw them in the bottom of your sleeping bag when sleeping outside. They are Natural and Odorless Air Activated Warmers. They are listed to work for Up to 18 Hours of Heat and that seems accurate.
The packages are easy to open.
Also good to keep some in your car in case of an emergency. I bought the large quantity pack and usually keep a few unopened ones with me on outdoor activities so I can share them with others.

I bought these a lot when I was working outside for 10 – 12 hours a day! I put in pockets, boots, under a hat, on a scarf to keep neck warm! Works great as a pain reliever!
I use these at night to put in between my socks on the top portion of feet, they last all night long and into the morning. Having tendinitis now, I use these as heating pads also. I always carry extra with me, keep some in cars, luggage….
If I see someone needing to get a little warmer on my outings, I’ll give them some. Small gesture but it helps that person. Always have these on hand!

These handwarmers are perfect for keeping me comfortable during infusions. I’m at the infusion centre for 6 hours and even with the heated chair and heated blankets my hands end up ice cold and I can’t feel them. These handwarmers are fast, don’t require any power, aren’t messy, no smell, they stay warm more than 12 hours and can be held or dropped in an insulated bag to create a super warm pocket to keep my hands toasty. I bought a 10 pack to start, and after using those up I was eager to reorder. They are single use.

This is the only size of hot hands i use in extreme cold.Yes they are more expensive then the smaller size but worth every penny.I work outside all winter long in Buffalo NY This size doesn’t ball up and covers the inside of my gloves perfectly. My local walmarts dont always have this size and run out of stock constantly . Buying battery gloves is out of question because of the amount of hours i work and type i would pretty much tear them up in about a week or less.Life saver for people like me that have poor circulation in my hands. I also noticed my hands arent cracking from the cold like they use to when using the original hot hands. The original are great in milder Temps though and i still use them . Amazon is now my go to place for Hot hands . They had them at my door One day after i ordered them . Great price and value

Amazon’s star rating system designates 5 stars = I love it, 4 stars = I like it. The Super Warmers deserve five stars for delivering on their promise, but I find them excessively hot. If I had to use them in extreme conditions, I might feel differently. The price paid for the quantity offered is a bargain, but the less potent regular hand warmers might be a better value for some people. Bigger and hotter is not going to be as useful in many circumstances.
These warmers are, indeed, SUPER, warmers. They are roughly twice the size of the typical individual “hand size”, but they pack more than twice the punch.
Everyone’s field conditions are going to be different so there isn’t going to be a one-size-fits-all review anywhere here. The best I can do is contrast these with the smaller hand warmers and how I typically use those.
I typically use the smaller hand warmers at the foot of a sleeping bag. On 30 to 50 degree nights in a tent, one small hand warmer (not these Super Warmers) usually does the job of keeping my feet warm. I would not dream of substituting the larger, super warmer in that application. The labeling even says to not use them when you sleep. There is also a warning about not using them if you are arthritic unless you consult a doctor (see attached photo for more warnings).
I haven’t tried it, but the amount of heat the super warmer produces would suggest that it could serve as a “space heater” in a single or two man backpacking tent configured with a fly, especially if you had a small battery powered fan to circulate the air. I know this sounds ridiculous—backpacking, space heater, fan—all oxymoronic terms. I’m only trying to give you a sense of the energy that is packed into one of these Super Warmers.
Just as the temperature rating of sleeping bags seldom seem to be accurate (conditions vary—the bag’s isolation from the ground, ground temp., tent use, wind, clothing worn, body fat, etc.) the amount of use you get from the Super Warmer is going to depend on many variables. I’ve never been ice-fishing, but if there is any circumstance where they might be especially appreciated, that would seem to be one. Or a hunter waiting in a blind for hours, unable to move around.
Also note that the images Amazon has supplied with the product description show BOTH the Super Warmer and the smaller hand warmers that come two to a packet. The graphics might help you see their relative size in the palm of a hand.
Final recommendations: Try to get a couple of these locally before you commit to a larger order. Anyone who is driving in severe winter weather conditions should have a supply of these in their safety kit.

These hot hands were the best thing we had on a freezing trip! The outdoor was frigid but these kept us nice and toasty.. they’re easy to use! All you do is rough them up a little by shaking the beads inside and you have heat for hours! Definitely one of the best purchases I made for our winter trip!

These are the best warmers. They are large and last more than a day. Highly recommend.
