This bike is amazing, the instructions were a bit not sufficient since the booklet has more images and short instructions. I found the QR code that leads to a video tutorial more helpful than the instruction manual. It just depends what you prefer for instructions. The bike comes mostly built. The only “building” required is placing the front wheel in, the pedals, the handlebars, plugging in the electric cables. The optional building is the fenders and rear rack. I purchased it with the fenders and rack and can rate it 10/10. I’ve rode this bike with a person on the back and its been flawless. My only critiques is the seat can be uncomfortable at times. The tires can be punctured pretty easily by stickers on the road. The tires aren’t meant for commuting as much as its advertised. The design is nice and allows for easy transitions on and off the bike. The battery like is enough for 6 miles if your going max speed, the slower you go the more range you have. The power is nice I just wish it could go a bit faster. I was also missing some screws when trying to install the safety reflectors. Do ensure you tighten the screws properly when installing the bike.

I purchased the “peak 1,000 Watt standard” CityOne 26″ bike (model on the box EB16 Plus) It came with a 48 volt 7.8 amp battery. (375 Watts) The wheel hub motor is a bit of a mystery. There were no labels showing the wattage of the motor. When riding the bike, the most that I’ve seen on the “POW” display is 675 watts. From Google AI “For an e-bike to have a peak power of 675 watts, you would most likely purchase a motor with a nominal or rated power of 500 watts.” So much for the peak 1,000 watts? It seems the only difference is that the “peak 1,000 Watt standard” and the “Standard” is the battery voltage. (48 vs 36) The motor uses a cadence sensor or thumb throttle to provide power. . The bike came with a 1.5 amp charger.. Following the written instructions in the manual and watching the video made the bike easy to assemble. Riding the bike: It seems to have plenty of power. I have taken it up an 1/3 of a mile 2°/2.5° slope hill. I started at the bottom at 18 mph using only the throttle and at the top it was still going 6 mph, which I think is outstanding as I weigh 270 lbs. I charged the battery to 100% before starting riding the bike and at 25 miles the bike has 80% on the battery. Bike handles well, stops in a good short distance, and seems to be well made. I’m very happy with this bike in my first 25 miles of riding. At this price point, I think this bike is a good deal, especially if you’re looking for an entry-level E-bike. 🙂

This is such a nice bike, much better than I ever expected, especially in this price range. It has more than enough power, was easy to assemble, it’s extremely fun to ride, controls are intuitive, gears shift nicely, brakes work great, was shipped extremely fast, package arrived undamaged, but it was well packaged. If you’re like me, I was tossed on which motor wattage to buy, I thought maybe a 1200 watt motor would be best, but I opted to save a little money and purchased the bike with the 750 wall motor, and I could not be happier. Oh, and the bike rides and glides so smoothly, so much better than my 20+ year Schwinn. Go ahead, don’t hesitate, if this bike is in your price range and 750 watts is enough for you, buy it!

This is a very well made e-bike. All of the components are top quality and the assembly was quick and easy. The manual is clear and informative. The hardest part was taking off the packaging but that’s a good thing because nothing was damaged. The bike is well balanced and easy to ride, it has great pickup speed and the pedal assist is the best part. I highly recommend this bike and i will be purchasing another one for my wife because she will not get off of my bike now.

So far…so good! It took me an hour and 45 mins to put together. The battery charged in 2 hours which was nice.
The handlebars took the most time. The instructions were not that great. I checked YouTube which helped a bit. The seat was east to install. The third thing to install was the front tire. It came with two bolts only. Not the pin that is shown on the Qlife video. I tightened the bolts and called customer service to see if if it need the pin with the push down lever. Waiting to hear back.
Customer service was great! They got back to me right away. They are forwarding my concerns. I will follow up when I hear back.
The front tire came flat. The rear tire needs air. I suggest ordering a tire pump when you order the bike. I have not yet inflated the tires.
The front light came with a screw bolt and washer only. Nothing to tighten on to the bolt. I screwed it as tight as I can but I think it will loosen up going over bumps. I let customer service know.
Love it so far!
**UPDATE** Customer service is great. They got back to me immediately. It turns out that the front tire does not need the pin. The tires inflated with no issues. I tightened squirrel with the washer behind it on the front light and it’s fine. Customer Service is sending me a longer one.
The bike is AWESOME! It has a very solid sturdy feel when riding. Very smooth. The seat is very comfy. I have 6 miles on it so far and the battery is still full. The bell works great. So far I’ve only used the pedal assist #1. With that I was going 11 mph, which is fine on and off the sidewalks. I will be testing the others this weekend.
No complaints. I love this bike better than my $1800 e-bike that was a step through fat tire 80 pound monster. It had a twisted throttle which I do not recommend. I had an accident on it with that twist throttle. I purposely bought this one because it had a push button throttle.
Another feature it has cruise control so if you hold down the throttle for so many seconds, it goes into cruise control mode. Once you hit the brakes, the cruise control turns off. Very nice feature on this Qlife bike. The handlebars are adjustable. I will be doing that next.
I LOVE IT!
