Sofar best entry leve E-bike for price and parts. The throttle came falling off the handle bars but I was changing the grips anyway. So bought a finger triggered replacement throttle for $12. And replaced the front and back tires for more durable ones. Bike runs amazing. For a 350 watt was not expecting to have so much range. For the price this is a Grade A bike. Looking forward to doing commutes with this bike. I got the bells and whistles for it too, will post pictures and update review when I finish setting up the upgrades.(One week ownership)
Edit: It’s been about 3 1/2 weeks of ownership.
I still think it’s a good e-bike for the cost. It meets my power needs, look through the manual and turn it into a 5 level PAS instead of the 3Level it comes default factory settings.(this will help conserve power)
I’ll do quick trips around the neighbor hood(groceries, gym, cruzing) roughly 7-10 mile trips there and back.
Usually it’ll knock down half the battery(2-3 bars/5). Im mostly using the throttle, ill PAS up hills.
I’ve stress tested the battery and done 26miles in a day, roughly 70% of my trip was throttle. Didn’t break a sweat and was fun to ride. The assist makes hills effortless. You need to learn how to ride it between shifting gears and the level of PAS you use. Easy learning curb.
So out of the box, my throttle was falling off handles as mentioned before, then the adjustable stem connecting the handlebars kept coming loose so I bought a new one. Doing research I’ve found that the tires that come with it will usually puncture easily so you will need new tires. My rear break was squeaking so I bought new brake pads and replaced it.
It’s a solid bike for the price but be prepared to give some TLC if you wanna make this your daily commuter. In total I’ve spent a mandatory $90 on the replacement parts(new wheels, new grips, new throttle, brake pads, new stem)
Not sure if the stem was a problem for others as I am an aggressive rider and love to take it through dirt and rocks. Popping on and off curbs.
You will probably just need new wheels $30 otherwise it’s a problem waiting to happen if you’re using their factory wheels and you’ll soon be walking home on one of your trips.
I didn’t want to send it back but I’m sure the company would have replaced the other parts if I was willing to wait and reship the bike but I was planning to do these upgrades anyway.
I also have a new bike seat, nothing wrong with the one they give you. It was comfortable, I just wanted more padding for longer trips. I have a rear rack and pannier bag, added the mirrors, phone holder, cup holder, alarm system, FENDERS(you will need) buy cheap ones $5, turning signals and night lights on the wheels.
I must say that you should be carful when installing upgrades because the paint will scratch off if ur not cautious. Not good to leave exposed metal to the elements.
This has been my experience with the bike sofar. It works for me but forsure there are some better options such as the ancheer 500w and maybe the tot guard if it’s a 500w can’t remember but those are also available on Amazon. I will be upgrading my battery and installing a second one soon to 3x the power ($250) so I’m not to worried, eventually I’ll also get a better motor but this is my first e-bike.
If you don’t plan on upgrading your bike and just want something that needs no fixes out of the factory then I’d explore other options.

Purchased 3 weeks ago and have ridden 40 miles so far. I love this bike!! I’m in my early 60s and not great arm strength, but can lift the bike quite easily. It’s simple to go from ride assist to throttle and comfortable in-town riding. Battery life seems great… have recharged just one time. Thankyou!

Let me first just say I really love this bike and in three months have put 500 miles on it. Use it to go a few miles to the train station, to the gym, and to the grocery store. It is solidly built, has great acceleration, battery life is no problem for the way I use it, braking is excellent, it can go on grass, dirt trails, sand, rough terrain, most anything, the headlight is strong and very bright, the full electric or pedal assist are great. Having said all that, there are three issues that I have found. 1) The power cuts off every once in a while when I am using full electric or pedal assist. This happens at least once every 2 to 3 days. I cycle the Pedal Assist Level while I am riding and the power will come back. This is only slightly annoying and power has always come back. 2) Went to ride the bike the other day and the front tire was completely flat, not one molecule of air left in the tire. There were no huge nails sticking out of the tire, could not find anything wrong with the outside of the tire. Have contacted Jaison customer support as the bike has a one year warranty. 3) The part of the rear tire that is in contact with the road is completely bald. I have seen this in another review. Maybe because power is applied to the rear tire….but it just seems odd that it got bald after 500 miles. And it is a mountain bike tire with big nobs all over. Will contact Jaison customer support about this too. But overall I absolutely love this bike…I will take care of my tire issues and be on the road again soon!!!!!

Just picked up two Jasion e-bikes with 500 W motors a month ago. The delivery was super quick, and they were packed really well. There was a tiny crack in one of the red reflectors, but I just glued it up. Putting them together was a breeze with the instructions, however, it takes little time. Honestly, these bikes are a great price! We’re having a blast riding them; you can still pedal normally and get a solid workout. Just a heads up, once you try the assist, you’ll totally get hooked on the speed! I also grabbed some extras like fenders, a swivel water cup holder, premium chain oil, and fireproof storage bags for the batteries, all at great prices too!

Pros: – Great beginner e bike.
– Passes Ontario’s bike laws
– Fast and holds a long charge
Cons: – Slim Tires
– Cheap material, threads were stripped for my left pedal but was able to fix
I would recommend looking for a higher quality model or a different brand. Not a bad bike but others are much better if you can spend the extra money.
EDIT: I contacted their support and they were able to give me a partial refund for the faulty part. Would recommend them again!

I can’t say enough good things about the quality of this bike. You can expand the pictures and get an idea. The bike arrived in reasonable time and there was absolutely nothing damaged. I was very impressed by the fit and finish. After assembling the bike however I had a problem. An error code condition on the display and the bike would not run. I contacted support and after I figured out they’re on a 12 hour or so delay, because I believe they’re in China, I felt Support became very responsive. The first thing they requested is that I check to make sure all connections on the bike were secure. Now the electrical system on this is very simple and so after my exhaustive checking of all possible electrical connections in the bike for shorts, loose connections or bent pins Support agreed to send me a new controller. We both agreed that should be the next step. After my initial problems with the weekend communication, Support has an email waiting for me every morning with the next step. Jasion customer service, Support and the forum have been very responsive now making sure I’m satisfied. And I will say all in all after I understood the time zone differences they have been very responsive and I am satisfied. Things happen, parts don’t work and staying in touch with the customer to resolve their issue is very important. What I received from Jasion is a quality bike from top to bottom. The fit and finish on this bike was absolutely fabulous. The joint welding is superb, the paint job is fabulous, they do not skimp on the disc brakes, hand brakes, digital display, seat or any part on this bike that I can see. Their wiring of the bike is simple yet protective. I really can’t say enough good things about the quality, I received a new controller within 5 days and it took me less than 20 minutes to install it and the bike is running. And running very well I might add. My first day I did 14 mi and hit 20 mph and battery life was excellent. It’s been a few days now and everything is working just great. I can’t say enough good things about the bike, the customer service and their Support.
