Gurl with a Curl –
These are such uniquely fun cards, and a great deal for the money. When I bought them they were priced so that each cost about 55 cents, which is outstanding. They come in a highly protective box of thick cardboard, which is pretty itself. I find the box top a bit difficult to slip off, but the good thing is, the box won’t easily open if you drop it. You get 20 cards, with 5 of each individual design: octopus, sea turtle, starfish, seahorse. The envelopes are nice, and the stickers are impressive: shiny gold rounds with an embossed hummingbird. The only negative is that a couple of my octopus cards are slightly marred inside; however, the cards are still usable. I’ll just add stickers of my own, to cover the problem. Not a deal-breaker for me—I’ve seen worse in cards sold in stores.
I don’t mind having to add extra postage for mailing, although I’m not sure how well the square shape will fare in mail processing. That said, it’s not a big consideration for me because most cards I send usually accompany some sort of gift, w/the card going into a mailer or box.

This review is very long, but I have many good things to say about this product, that are specific.
The video part of this review, I am mostly repeating a bunch of stuff that I’ve included here.
• perfect weight/thickness of the quality paper, my gel ink pens glide across it, just right, & the paper doesn’t easily smear, etc.
• the box is a piece of art onto itself, & looks cute among my other stationary items
• includes envelopes of 4 different colors, to match with the cards, or mix them up, both look good
• One feature I also enjoy, that these cards are square.
• I am impressed all around, & will definitely buy from Papyrus again
• I also purchased (at the same time) a fancier card, sold solo, of the branch of a cherry blossom tree, hanging above water, from the same brand, Papyrus. It has a couple of 3-D features.
• I appreciate that Papyrus has different price points for different items, as all are beautiful and good (quality) choices, for differing occasions. Their price point for these note cards is reasonable and a good deal. I did not expect the cards to be so vibrant.
• wrapped and shipped appropriately (SUPER fast) to avoid damage, this is an item that I would feel comfortable gifting to someone, directly through Amazon.
Lastly, a shout out to this old(er) version of (non-digital) communication.
I started writing more letters and cards a few years ago (first, to my beloved grandmother, who has always loved cards) & I have found that I, too, enjoy then.
In addition to the video, I am including a couple of pics so that you can see the colored envelopes, & the contrasting lining.

Papyrus didn’t disappoint! The colors are vibrant, and the cards are sturdy which is a nice quality due to many paper products downsizing on the quality of their products! As long as the quality of the stationery and paper products is the same, I will continue to be a customer!

The cards are smaller than expected. They’re cute & pretty but definitely not worth £16. What a shame. Would not purchase again.

It’s hard to find adorable notecards that small children enjoy. These are perfect ‘thinking of you’ cards for little ones. Think of how surprised they’ll be to get mail that is not a birthday card!

– Beautiful, vibrant colors
– Substantial, durable cardstock
– Thick, lined envelopes with vibrant color
– Lovely, keepsake card box
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this set of note cards!
