I really enjoy these coloring books! The designs are super cute, fun, and leave plenty of space for creativity. They’re perfect for winding down in the evening. I color every night before bed and it’s become such a relaxing routine.

That said, the paper is very thin, more like standard copy paper, so markers definitely bleed through. A separator sheet is a must. I used the cover of one of the books when I didn’t have one handy, and while it worked in a pinch, it did mark up the cover. It would be great if the set included a couple of separator sheets to make it more convenient.

Overall, this is a nice set at an average price point for this type of coloring book. The cute designs make it worth it for personal use or as a gift, just keep in mind you’ll need to protect the pages if you’re using markers.

I was looking for something relaxing to do as a hobby and found this coloring books. I think the drawings are interesting enough but not too much detail to feel overwhelmed. the drawings are cute and the pages are good quality as I am able to use markers and it does not bleed through. the coloring pages are not super thick but thick enough to allow the use of markers. for the value it is definitely worth it as there is so many pages to draw and the quality is good.

This coloring book definitely has a very cute concept. I had an easy enough time coloring in with alcohol and regular markers- but the alcohol markers were a lot smoother on the paper which is very thin. The water based markers were incredibly streaky and the end result was not as nice as the alcohol marker pages I tested. Colored pencils were also alright, I did try to layer the pencils over the marker. I was able to get some variation this way but I couldn’t build up the color a lot.

Now, as someone who does art as a hobby, has taken art courses, etc, I did have a feeling that perhaps this coloring book is AI generated art. On the whole it wasn’t very apparent but as I colored some of the pages, some of the choices felt more like the mistakes of an AI rather than something I could attribute to human error from an artist. There is also not an artist name anywhere on this book. Use your best judgement when purchasing. In my experience those are all signs of AI generated art but of course I cannot say for certain.

Overall this book feels better suited for a child if only because of the paper quality but I do think you’d get good results with alcohol markers and a protective page between each sheet as you color.

So cute and so much fun to color in!

I have a lot of coloring books, like several hundred. I used to color all the time and kind of lost my love and ambition for them. The books I was coloring were full of small details and took a long time to finish, and I started to get impatient and somewhat bored. When these bold-lined/ “cozy” coloring books came out, it rekindled my love of coloring. I love them because I can use colored pencils or markers, since there are not as many tiny details. The paper is still quite thin, but I usually put a few sheets of thick cardstock behind the pages I am working on, and it works out very well.

The pictures in these two coloring books are just sooo cute! Many of these types of coloring books go for about $7-$10, so getting two for about $10 is amazing! These books are great for both kids and adults. I am very happy with them both!
