I am actually impressed with this ink cartridge. I use it with my HP printer, and it worked a lot better than I expected, no errors, no fuss. I purchased the Valuetoner 63XL Black for my HP Envy 4520 and I’m really happy with it. It installed without any problems and the printer recognized it instantly. The print quality is good, the text is sharp, and the black and white photos look great. It also works with several HP models, such as the Officejet 3830, Deskjet 1112, 2130, 4650, 4652, 5252, and 5222, so it’s very versatile. I was surprised by its performance for the price.

I bought both the re-manufactured HP 62 replacement color and black ink cartridge for my HP Office-jet 5740 printer last year. The printer accepted the black cartridge with no issue, but I had to reinsert the color cartridge 3 times before my printer recognized it. The color cartridge gave me problems and never did work These are certainly cheaper than the HP model! Fortunately each cartridge was less expensive than the HP cartridge version that prints 200 copies, so if they each give me more than 200 copies that’s great! I am pleased with the black cartridge so far but very disappointed in the color cartridge – it never worked! I will buy the black cartridge only going forward!

This does not work in my HP at all!! I will never again buy cartridges from Amazon!! I have three different cartridge orders that do not work and two are supposedly HP! Where is the quality control with Amazon?? I’m furious.
*** I have to say that while the these did not work for me, the seller was extremely responsive and immediately agreed to a return. No questions asked. I guess these work for some as an off brand. I do hate that HP does not allow people to choose a cheaper alternative. So if you do try these, the seller is very nice to deal with. I am changing the stars to 4 because customer service is a huge plus for me!
