At first glance, this calculator’s amazing premise seems like a game changer for anyone working in STEM subjects. Its biggest feature is the built in writing pad which offers a handy and erasable area for taking notes quickly creating graphs or working through procedures without wasting paper. When thrown in a backpack the stylish and somewhat sturdy foldable case provides adequate protection for the screen and keys. It covers all the fundamentals for high school and college courses with its 240 functionalities and the HD screen is clear and easy to read. Another practical benefit that performs as promised is the one click clear button.
This product’s implementation however is where it falls short of being a top tier tool. The Anti Deletion Lock is the most annoying feature. Despite being a protection it is too sensitive and inconvenient. It is much too simple for me to inadvertently activate locking the entire gadget and requiring a bewildering set of button presses to deactivate thereby disrupting my study or lecturing process. The writing pad is handy but has minor scratches after only a few weeks of use and the keys feel a little mushy. The build quality is adequate but it does not seem like it will handle long term intensive use.
In the end I feel conflicted. The writing pad is an excellent perk that nearly makes the purchase worthwhile for a student who frequently forgets their scratch paper.

This is a nice concept but I don’t feel like it’s executed as well as it could be. The calculator functions as it should and to be honest I don’t know how to use a scientific calculator to it’s full potential.
The “note pad” is kinda like an etch a sketch in a way but has the ability to be locked so you don’t accidentally erase what you’re working on BUT it is a standalone feature that seems only useful to take notes of your calculations while you’re working multiple calculations.
For the price I would say it’s well worth it but I am not certain how well it would hold up to serious regular use in a work environment.

This calculator is very affordable and unique. The design is well thought about. I bought it for my daughter and she enjoys it. She loves the note pad feature that it has. It’s not an adding machine it is a scientific calculator.
