Bought these for my classroom. Had to add batteries but tested every one and they all worked great. Students were very happy with these.

Considering the high cost of comparable brand name products, these scientific calculators are an incredible value. They each require two AAA batteries, not included. Switch off (press SHIFT and AC) when not in use to avoid draining the batteries. Device switches off automatically after a few minutes. For trig functions, to switch between degrees and radians, press MODE twice and choose 1 for degrees or 2 for radians. I will most likely never use the more advanced capabilities of this device. I just need trig functions and their inverses, logs and exponentials. I do like the two line display and the replay function. The short set of instructions is in a tiny font that requires my best reading glasses so I have not read the whole thing yet. And the spelling error on the box does not inspire confidence. I handed the calculator to one of my undergrad students. She noticed that two of the larger keys stick easily if hit from an angle. She also noticed that if you touch the liquid display it looks weird. But I am truly amazed how well these devices work for such a minuscule price. What a great value!

First off this is an excellent price for so many mult-function calculators. Great for beginner classroom or college setting as a loaner to those that forgot their one at home. The function keys are in a different layout than the typical TI versions. On/off are different spots, not sure if clone of Casio either. But important part is all the keys work, and reaches correct solutions. Again if you’re an educator, great edition to classroom on a budget.

I am really enjoying this scientific calculator. I haven’t had one in a number of years dating back to high school so I am thrilled that it comes with a detailed instruction guide to remind me how everything works. Overall it functions well and is easy to read. It doesn’t come with batteries, but it still remains a great value vs other brands. I am happy with this and I am going to share these with some of my advanced math students at school.

I was impressed when I received these Scientific Calculators. They each come in a nice retail box and are perfect for gifting. High quality craftsmanship like Texas Instruments was back in the day! EVERY function you could possibly want in a calculator. Very portable and slides right in your pocket. The solar power feature is awesome to save battery life! And the keys and face protection cover that slides on and off easily turns it into a rugged hard case! Perfect stocking stuffer this Holiday Season! Definitely a bargain for the money! Shipping was super fast as usual. Product was packaged VERY well. Honest review.

Pretty affordable scientific calculator. Is not solar powered, needs AAA batteries. Comes with a little direction booklet. Only complaint is that I wish the key pad was a tiny bit more touch sensitive. You have to hit each button directly from the front. You can’t really type on it too fast or you might miss a button during equations. Bought it for my high school son since they can’t have phones out in class.

This is a nice advanced calculator that will be great for my kids school. It has all the functions they need for their math and plenty more. My daughter really likes the fact that there’s two lines of text on the screen so when you do one calculation the answer remains on the screen as you’re typing out the next part of the calculation. This makes it easier for her to break a larger calculation down in the multiple parts and doing it in segments. Once you do one calculation and get the answer if you then do the second part using that first answer the Top Line will read “answer” and then what you’re doing with it. This calculator has so many options that I can see that I’m gonna have to get a book to explain everything. With a six pack it’s nice to have a calculator for each of my kids and an extra for when the inevitably misplace theirs. The extra units will make a nice donation to the math class for students who need a calculator.
