I like the upgrades in this Shark vacuum cleaner from my last Shark. They kept the duo clean system along with the self- cleaning brushroll to eliminate the dreaded hairwrap. I really like the return of the 30 foot extension cord from the 25 foot cord on my previous Shark. The additional 5 feet makes a big difference for me. The floor detect technology is awesome as it automatically senses the difference between hard floors and carpets and adjusts the brushrolls which is great when I am cleaning a hard floor with area rugs. Another plus is the ability to switch to a manual surface mode for hard floor or carpet where it stays on the type of surface you choose. I like that it is self-standing when the vacuum head is on the wand or the head can be detached and set on the storage hook like previous Sharks. The only negative is the odor cartridge which has a disgusting perfumy reek. You can adjust the amount of odor released or just remove the cartridge completely. I think I will just keep the cartridge in and set it for the minimum intensity setting and never replace it so it will eventually lose it’s smell. The precision duster attachment has a smaller nozzle with an attached brush that has a more controllable suction than a regular sized nozzle. I like Sharks because of their cleaning performance and this style which is light and easy to maneuver and they keep improving it.

i searched online and read the product reviews of best stick vacuums and i actually had a different vacuum cleaner i thought i wanted. i had to wait to buy it and then i came across this vacuum cleaner. i read the reviews and i decided to risk it. im disabled and needed a lightweight vacuum and this is not as light weight as i would like but WOW!! what a vacuum cleaner. i have noticed how the cord is stiff but i can plug it in and almost vacuum my whole house (small house) without ever removing the cord–it is a great length. as for the power of this vacuum cleaner? it is amazing. and i will have to agree with others as the dirt collecting container is small but if that is the worst part about the cleaner? and i think it is. then im SUPER happy with my purchase. now, ive only used it once but im thinking i have a new best friend for cleaning.

This is a powerful! vacuum.As strong as a good upright. I am a small woman and it takes strength I don’t have to vacuum as much as I did with less effective vacuum. That is the only reason I’m trying to decide whether to return it. But it does a much better job than my Dyson!

I have to admit i was leery purchasing this with some of the reviews. But now that I’ve had it i like how easy it is to maneuver and light. The handle is comfortable. It really has good suction!! Easy to empty the bin. The tool storage isn’t horrible although the bottom one pops off from time to time. I like how it selects hard floor or carpet. Idk what everyone is freaking out about with the cord in the reviews. I like that its a ribbed cord as it wont tangle as much. Sure its a bit stiff when you get it but it loosens up. I love that i dont have to worry about replacing batteries ever for this stick! And the best part is how easy this is to take apart to use as a smaller vacuum in two different ways. Way to go designers!
