This goes together pretty well. For $25 it’s a decent hoe – not the best sharpest tool in the shed but in my garden with friable soil it should work out just fine. I can’t wait to use it in the spring

I think this works OK for the right tasks in a garden, such as cutting weeds at their roots I did not find it much better than a normal hoe, however–just tip a normal hoe’s handle vertical and use its edge to cut through the soil (plus a normal hoe has its sharp corners). Frankly, I was rather disappointed in this design, as I was expecting it to be much better at certain tasks. The major problem with this implement, though, is that the sections unscrew themselves every single time I try to use it. After a few seconds, you can feel the handle wobbling. I tried being very careful to keep the blade part parallel to the ground, but it still unscrews. I think the handle pieces should be fairly sturdy given their diameter, but I am going to have to investigate some options for keeping the sections from unscrewing themselves to be able to make any use at all out of this. Very disappointing. Cannot recommend because of this issue.

Doesn’t work as shown, you have to run it back-and-forth really fast to get any of the weeds up and the polls keep getting loosened up. I would just save your money and go buy one from my hardware store.
