I don’t like to carry a lot of tools when working in the garden and this one has multiple uses, So handy in the garden, one tool for many tasks, great for cutting and prising out weed roots and sawing small diameter tough stems and pruning soft fleshy stems, loosening and opening planting holes, cutting open bags, light cultivating around plants, cutting twine for supporting tomato branches etc. Does not come with a holster as do some other brands but does have a slightly curved wide tip which more easily engages with the root than the smaller forked tips of other blades…. the tang transition to handle is a rolled stamping which is stronger than I expected but still weaker than other brands of this tool, the rolled tang can also get pack with soil and debris which has to be washed or scraped out….. All in all though in spite of these minor issues this is a pretty good tool.

Built well, I’ve found so many uses for it I my garden. I start all my seedlings in aerogardens. The roots get very long even after trimming. This tool allows me to dig deeper, narrower holes than with my trowels. Love it…worth every penney!

Tool works great. Easy to hold, and doesn’t hurt your hand. It is thick and well made. Highly recommend for pulling out dandelions by the root.
