These garden sheers are really nice, sharp, comfortable, easy to use, and under 10 dollars.

ASOLUTELY LOVE THIS TOOL HAS A SOFT GRIP HANDLES AND SPRING LOADED WITH GREAT CUTTING ABILITY. VERY EASY TO USE AND GOOD DESIGN. IS MADE WELL VERY SHARP IT GETS THE JOB DONE.

I’ve never left a review for garden shears before. But I’ve had quite a few, and they’ve all seemed to do well until the point where they begin to get loose or the springs fall out. I bought this one to replace the last in a series of garden shears I wore out. I basically expected the same from these. I was mildly surprised. These seem sturdier, and they fit in my hand better. The latch type closing mechanism works better than anything I’ve used before, because you just close the handles and flip the very simple latch into place. No muss, no fuss. It’s a very simple design which just makes sense, and which no one else (that I’ve tried, at least) seems to use.

The spring mechanism follows the same design philosophy. Instead of using a standard coiled spring affixed between the two handles (which eventually breaks or goes boinging off into the yard when the shears have worn out), this one uses something akin to a spiral torsion spring. It works better, and feels much sturdier than the standard springs on any of the garden shears I’ve used before.

In the end, this one just works, and it works well. I’ve been clearing out a lot of brush and sapling trees out of our yard. I use this, and two loppers of different sizes, to break down branches and sampling into a small, easily disposable pile. I always start with these shears, breaking down leaf stems and smaller branches until I reach a point where it starts meeting notable resistance. Then I switch to the smaller loppers to move on to the mid-sized branches, and use the larger loppers on branches that are sometimes up to 2 inches thick. I have no doubt that these garden shears will hold its own against those sturdy loppers which I’ve had for many years.

In the end, all I want to say about these garden shears is that if they, along with the loppers, can help me break down small young trees, it’ll definitely hold up to every day gardening. I’ve found by all-time favorite garden shears, and as long as Hewog makes them, these are the only garden shears I’ll buy. It’s safe to say I was impressed with the ones I bought.

This is an excellent pair of gardening shears. It appears to be very well-made. The shear has a very comfortable grip that feels good in your hand. Most importantly, the shear has a very sharp blade that will cute through all your normal gardening twigs and branches. I think this is the perfect size garden shear for general purpose use. At $10 (on sale) this is a great price. I would purchase this again.
