I used this on my husky mix and it worked incredibly. He normally hates to be brushed, but didn’t mind being brushed with this for some reason. It is super comfortable to hold and the teeth are much longer than other brushes. I would give it a 5 star review except the fur is so hard to remove from the extra long bristles. I feel like the bristles are going to end up bent from trying to get the fur out of them. I will continue to use though as it worked so well. I’ll update on how it fairs over time.

I am just getting started with home grooming my standard size golden doodle, so chose this brush to use on larger areas. I chose the large size brush, which is 3 3/4 inches wide by 3 1/4 inches from top to bottom. The handle extends about 5 inches below the brush head, though if you measure from the center of where it is attached on the back of the brush head, it’s 6 1/2 inches (see photo). I like that the handle is wider where it attaches to the back, so I can easily and comfortably grab it from the back of the brush head. The lightweight, softly curved grip is comfortable, the brush does a great job of removing yard debris from her torso area when she comes in from rolling in leaves outside, and it keeps her fine hair tangle-free. I rarely get much hair buildup, but when I do, it’s easy to remove. At four months of age and 22 pounds, she is still a growing pup, so it’s a bit large for her at this time. I want to plan ahead and get her accustomed to being groomed, as she will weigh between 50-60 pounds when full grown. Brush seems to be super durable, and pins are fairly dense as you can see from photos. Glad I added this to our grooming kit!

Affordable, effective, comes with instructions for beginners, and easy to use. LOVE the texture of the handle.
The bristles are a little spiky and rough, but if you use gentle handling it is fine.
I’ve been grooming professionally since 2019, and have regretfully been using my default Andis slicker brushes since then.
I’ve always wanted to try the Poodle brand products because they look so elegant.
And now that I made my first bulk purchase to upgrade some of my brushes, I am so glad I did, and wish I did sooner! I’ve only been using them for a few days, but the speed in which I can get my spa babies done now is incredible.
This slicker brush is amazing for knots and undercoat with few, gentle swipes. And using their softer slicker brushes and combs help the process.
I use the Poodle comb to easily clean the hair out of the brush. A must have to relieve your time in brushing

I was looking for a brush to brush out my Great Pyrenees and all I can say is wow. Price was great, very comfortable handle and I was able to brush her big self down in literally minutes. She had some tangles and a couple of mats in her tail and back leg feathers and this brush found them and I separated the mat out and it brushed the mat completely out in just a few strokes. I normally get her hair cut down at different times during the year but after getting this brush?! I’ll keep her brushed out and she can stay all fluffy! I will be buying the smaller version also. Awesome products.
