I am so impressed by this dog grooming clipper set! I just got it this morning and used it this afternoon. I have an almost 2 yr old shih-poo whose fur is curly/wiry. I have never had a dog with this type of fur and did not realize the grooming schedule he has to be on. When I first got him he was matted and in dire need of a grooming. After going to a certain pet chain to get him groomed, they turned me away because they did not use the kind of blade that he needed to get rid of the mats. I was then referred to a vet approximately 40 mins away to get him groomed and then suggested to come back to said pet store to keep up the grooming schedule. My own vet does not do grooming services so I was kind of out of luck but he was in desperate need of getting done because he not only had mats that were getting tighter but he smelled like a farm animal. Long story short, I did not go to the vet, I went to my mom’s former groomer and she could not believe the store would not do his grooming. It took her 45 minutes to get him down to his skin (but fuzzy). The fur that came off that poor pup was unbelievable. It was like another dog in a pile. It cost me a pretty penny but it was worth it. Fast forward to his next in need grooming and I told myself I could do this myself. After 400+ viewings and re-viewings of how to groom a shih-poo, I gave it my best shot!! Lol!! I bought a grooming table from a seller I found on FB. It was used once and is in pristine condition with all the bells and whistles, and then I went and researched clippers. I had my eye on 2 brands and bought one of them after reading almost all of the clippers they offered and settled on one that was affordable but seemed that it would work on my little guys coat. He was a champ on his new grooming table. Gave me no trouble at all and wasn’t afraid of the buzz sound of the clippers after I introduced him to them and let him smell them and hear them when I turned it on. They worked okay taking off the top layer of his fuzzy fur (after I brushed him and got him ready to be trimmed). Now keep in mind this is my first time doing this and I am by no stretch of the imagination going to be doing dog trimming as a side job!! I wasn’t impressed with the amount of fur I got off him with this brand but I think it was my own fault. So being the perfectionist I know I can be, I ordered the other set I had my eye on and it was delivered this morning. I could not wait to get my little man on the table again to get right into the shave. I charged them first (there was 75% battery charge already) and got right into it. These clippers were AWESOME! Shaved right down to his skin like I wanted to. Fur came right off on the first pass. It took me a while to do his whole body being careful of his private parts but he looks 100% better. They charged quickly, went through his fur like butter, not too heavy but you know your holding a well made clipper in your hand, comes in a box with six blade guards, cleaning brush, charging cord and a small bottle of oil. I am so so impressed with this unit. I wish I had ordered this one first. I am going to keep both but this is my go to. Cannot recommend these clippers enough!

Works good. Have to brush your dog very good before. Easy to use and once I got the hang of it, it went pretty quick. Very durable

I was impressed at how smooth it cut. The blade still gets hot after about 20 mins of cutting, so I had to turn it off and wait for it to cool, which took a few mins. Didn’t want to burn my dog.
For reference I have a golden doodle, so very curly hair.

Works well without the guards, those get tangled in longer fur. Quieter than our old ones.Battery lasts for quite a while and seems to charge quickly

I have a Golden retriever,and I was not sure how well this trimmer would work .OUTSTANDING! With all the blade trim attachments my Dakotas hair cut went extremely well . Charges quick , cuts smooth , low noise .Well worth the $50 ,when her haircut is $130 at a groomer . I’m glad I bought them , completely satisfied.

I CANNOT recommend these clippers enough! They’re absolutely incredible. Got dogs with dense fur? Thick mats? These will slice through with minimal effort, and won’t knick your pup’s skin! I was blown away by how great they work, and I was able to get through two dogs on one charge! Not small dogs, a pair of pups over 100 pounds each! Well, maybe 50 pounds now that they’re nice and shaved!! Thinking of buying them? DO!!!!
