This clipper is a fabulous bang for the buck !!! There are no words for how impressed I am with this MIGHTY clipper. We adopted a fairly well “matted” 60 lb. aussiedoodle, who was in desperate need of a grooming but due to the matting, had developed a hot spot on his foot and no groomer would work on him, due to that open sore issue. I was advised by them, to try and find a vet that did grooming. No luck. SO….I started watching you tube videos on grooming and decided that I was up to the challenge of learning how to do it myself. While waiting for my clipper to arrive in the mail, I took him to my vet to deal with the hot spot and she said to go for it on the clipping, just make sure to stay away from the hot spot. She assured me that even a botched non pro job, would be better than leaving him so uncomfortably matted.
I chose the oneisall clipper due to the RAVE reviews ! Thanks to each and every one of you, who took the time, to write a review and help all of us newbies, also thanks for mentioning that you weren’t professionals yourselves and the loads of encouragement you offered !!
My clipper came with a full charge, that didn’t even run down, well into the 3 1/2 to 4 hour mark !! It took me 3 days, working about 3 hours each day, to get him down to hair that was about 1/2 inch long. I was terrified to take him down to the skin for fear of burning him with the clippers. I opted to leave him on the longer side…..brushed out the hair that was left…..which took another couple of days, then gave him a bath with a blow dry and he turned out absolutely ADORABLE !! The clipper cuts consistently and sliced through his matted fur, like butter, it was also incredibly QUIET. I probably could have done this much faster but again….I was new to the process, I didn’t want to hurt him and because of his size, there was a lot of real estate to plow through. Let me say….I do NOT begrudge groomers, what they charge. I know now, what a time-consuming job it truly is. When using this clipper for the first time, just go slow until you get your confidence up. Some reviewers mentioned the on/off button being in a bad spot. In all the hours I worked on my dog, I only accidently shut it off, ONCE. The longevity of the charge on this clipper, is utterly insane. Have no fear. Your arm will give out, long before this battery does. I used the brush to clean up the metal clipper blades and oiled them after every use. I should also mention that I put the clipper on the 1/0 setting. I did NOT initially use the blade guard because even the 3mm wouldn’t allow me to go through his matted hair. I put the 3mm blade guard on, when I had his hair down to about 1 inch. This is just a suggestion…..all matted dog hair will be of different consistency. You’ll get the hang of this the further you get into the clipping process. Also, the oneisall video, on their website is super helpful to watch. If you’re looking for a clipper that is a work horse, easy to use, slices through matted hair easily, is QUIET with an extremely LONG battery charge, this is the clipper you want to buy !!

Very Pleased with the clippers. They arrived on time and fully charged, with a long battery life. My very first time for clipping my Spanish Water Dogs and although I say it myself I have done an OK job thanks to these clippers. Cannot praise them enough!!!

I have two toy poodles, one with a fine coat the other has fine hair but lots of it. The thick coated dog has blunted my old rechargeable clipper in just over a year of use so I wasn’t holding out huge hope for these clippers. I was wrong, they are tough but smooth. The old clippers used to snag on her coat, these glide right through. Previously, I never used a blade guide because of the snagging issue but I really need to use one with these clippers to prevent the odd bald patch from clipping too close, oops. And they hold charge very well, two dogs done and they still have plenty of charge left. I would happily buy these clippers again.

Edited: After my initial experience, the company reached out and worked with me to find a clipper set more suitable to my dogs’ fur types. They were very kind and helpful and left me with a positive experience toward their clipper brand. They recommend this item number: DTJ001 – So would I order from them again, yes. But if you have a dog with a thicker coat, go with the other model.
Initial Review: These clippers are okay for the price. They work okay on my spring spaniel. It is a pain to make them work on my Aussiedoodle. The hair constantly gets trapped in the blade, and it won’t always cut her hair-definitely not with the guard on. This last time, I’ve tried to bathe her twice and let her hair dry completely and it is still not working well.
I do love that they are cordless and quieter so that it doesn’t scare my dig. Maybe better for face and other sensitive areas. They also stay charged through several sessions.
Tip- dog has to be very freshly bathed (like most clippers) and fully dried. But they still struggle through softer fur.

I have probably bought 4 different brands of dog clippers over the last several years. I have a poodle and we live on a small farm. She runs through woods and brush in the south where it gets over a hundred degrees in the summer and she gets hay and twigs and stuff in her hair so I keep her clipped pretty short. All of the clippers I have previously used have gotten too hot to finish shaving her in one sitting. And they were a little heavy. This new set of clippers are a dream. There is no cord to bother with. They are light and small enough to be easy to use for my hands that are a little arthritic. They never got hot or even warm. They were quiet and so sharp and were fully charged when they arrived ! I admit that I apparently didn’t pay enough attention when I ordered them to even know they were cordless so I was going to to plug them in to start clipping as soon as they arrived and saw the charging cord. I was disappointed that I would have to wait to use them while they charged. On a whim I turned them on and since they ran I thought I’d give them a quick test with whatever charge they had. Well , I shaved the whole dog on that initial charge. I started on her face around her eyes and they were so maneuverable that I kept going to her ears. Then her front legs and feet. Then her belly. I just kept on shaving. For at least an hour. I don’t know how long they would have kept running since I finished all of her and they were still running full strength. And my hand wasn’t sore since they are so light. I’m in love with these clippers. I wonder who else I can shave around here ?…hmmm…my grandson has some pretty long hair…..I wonder…??
I’m taking the other three sets of heavy, corded clippers to Goodwill this afternoon.

Easy to use, cordless clipper, which keeps it charge , cuts the thick poodle hair on my schnauzer and also the silky hair on my bigger schnauzer without any problems. It actually works better than my more expensive clipper. The groomer charges $45 for each dog. I’ve used it for both since December. So it would have cost $720. The clippers were on sale for $35! I’ve never had to sharpen them or change blades yet. I just learned how to trim them off videos and have saved a lot of money.
