Can spending $9 change your life? In my case, yes! I have literally spent my entire life using crappy gardening shears. I didn’t even know it until I got these. They are SUPER sharp and effective! I mainly use them for snipping the ends off flowers and stems for arrangements, but they would be equally great for actual outdoor pruning. Very impressed, particularly for this price!

I like that these pruners are SK-5 steel. They are very similar in design to a significantly more expensive brand. The handles are slightly larger. They work well in my XL glove size hand. I like the texture of the red handle coating, which makes the handles easy to grip. I like the extra spring even though I’m unsure I will ever need it. I don’t like that the latch doesn’t keep the blades securely closed because the notch is not properly shaped. I could fix it with a little grinding although I probably won’t bother. The blades came sharp. I was able to cut up to 1″ woody stems as advertised. The blades have no special coating but that is quite acceptable for the sale price. Excellent value for the money.

I scoured the options. Some pair looked like they did not do the true, proper scissor action (and likely don’t from the marginal photos); these do (a single bevel, not a knife-style dual bevel) – making cutting hard branches easy, and they appear rather robust (but are not huge in size). The handles are ergonomic. I rarely give out 5 stars, but these actually qualify – they exceed my expectations.
The safety feature is well-designed, robust, and does not get in the way – ever.
They also come with an extra spring; a good thing!

I had always purchased Fiskars shears and, within a short time, became frustrated because the blades would crush whatever I was trying to cut instead of making a clean cut. So, when looking for yet another pair of shears, I decided to try a different brand. Kynup seemed to have decent reviews. The biggest complaint seemed to be the latching mechanism. I went ahead and ordered the Kynup shears and, so far, couldn’t be happier. The blade is extremely sharp and the handles are very comfortable in my hand. They made a clean cut on anything I have used them on. Time will tell how these shears hold up. The latch is not the greatest but that is a minor irritation in comparison to shears that do not cut well. I am very happy with this purchase.

Very sharp. Good for cutting roses and trimming lemon trees. Some reviews commented on the shears not locking properly. It happened to me. Then I realized you have to press down on the locking mechanism before you move it into place. After that, works perfect every time.

This garden shears are well balanced in my hands, work easily for pruning medium-size branches (mature ficus shrubs) and are very sharp, as I expect it, to make using it very easy

These are the perfect pruning scissors. They fit in your hand perfectly with a nice grip. They are great size for reaching up and getting hard to reach branches. The quality is clearly superior, and the blades are very sharp.
