I had some really rough soil and roots to get through and this thing held up pretty well. I was not gentle with it. Lol the edges are nice and sharp. Its a really good deal for the price. Highly recommend.

Very nice, very sturdy: will probably last years. The blade is thick steel so it should never fall apart. The handle does fit very nicely into your hand. But I was surprised that it did not come sharpened. A little work on the grinder, no problem, but I would think a “premium” tool would come out of the box ready to go.

I started using this trowel the moment I received it, and so far it’s the best hand trowel I’ve ever bought! It’s sturdy, well-made, and very sharp. Perfect for digging out weeds in hard soil. I never once worried that it might bend, like others I’ve had in the past. The saw-tooth side came in handy for cutting through a handful of long grass when the shears were out of reach. I also love that it can be sharpened if it ever gets dull. Very happy with this purchase!

This Trowel by Kemaier 3 & half inch wide is really heavy duty. Well built, going to come in handy for sure. I looking forward to the other one I ordered, only a not as wide blade as this one, if it’s built like this one, & I’m sure it will be, I will be as a pig in that stuff.

Wow! This is my go-to for digging through tough clay and tangled roots. I tossed my other digging tools aside after I started using this. I’m involved in habitat restoration and that means digging out invasive plants and vines while leaving native plants. This tool is sharp and well designed. It is slender enough to work around good plants to get to the invasive ones. I got the “tooth trowel” and I can use the serrated edge to rib open bags of potting soil or cut through roots in the soil. Makes it like a 2-in-one tool. Comfortable in the hand. Sturdy. The yellow stripe helps me find it if I lay it on the ground. Highly recommended.
