Gorilla Easy Connect Heavy Duty Garden Tools with Digging Trowel, Transplant Trowel and Cultivator Hand Rake Solid One Piece Cast Aluminum Construction by GORILLA EASY CONNECT
Tea –
I waited to review these until the end of the summer. Chose them because of their one-piece construction, no handles to crack or fall off, were cast aluminum which I liked the look of and thought would be light. They are, although not flimsy at all. Mine certainly came new. I use them for container gardening and they gave me no trouble. In fact, I ended up accidentally leaving one of the trowels out on the steps for a month through all kinds of weather and it looks as shiny and perfect as it did at the start. What they would do if you were digging up something in hard, rocky soil, I’ve no idea, but for planting in containers, transferring compost from a bag to pots, they were great. Not too big, either, because I have small hands and arthritis, so I did not want something with big, hard to hold handles. I would recommend these to anyone and have!

Well made, sturdy & looks nice. They don’t bend at the neck when working in heavy clay soil.

I have just started using these for the gardening season and I love that they are light and forged out of a single piece so I know the handles won’t twist or rot off. The handles are comfortable to hold and the tones on the fork are wide and wide apart so they actually move a good amount of soil instead of just slicing through it. The shovels have a slight edge to them and have been great to dig with. I added some steel twist on wire keychain ties through the holes in the handles to hang them in my storage area and off of my bucket or cart when I am using them in the garden.

Solid and ergonomic, these are built to last. Purchased for a gift as the individual simply leaves tools outside. I was looking for one with a solid metal handle. No wood to split or glue to crack. These are perfect. Well worth the purchase.

I purchased the 3 piece set. All are well constructed. They are quite smooth so best to use gloves that provide grip.

Strong solid aluminum garden tools.
They seem like they’ll last a Long time and are sturdy.

Liked
*Shipping in simple cardboard box without a lot of packaging ~ carbon footprint reduction.
*They were in “new” condition ~ no dents, scratches, or signs of use.
*Very light weight but still sturdy ~ maybe the weight of a golf ball.
*Digging trowel measuring grooves more like divots, are pretty accurate, about an inch apart.
*Transplant and digging trowel work well for “tearing” roots but are not sharp to the touch.
*Fork prongs aren’t sharp and are more rounded. If something more aggressive for tough weeds these may not work.
*Each piece is designed as one solid piece instead of separate pieces.
*Very easy to clean afterwards.
Did Not Like
* Shipping box received w/seal broken and no resealing. No “quality sticker” inside the box. W/transferable illnesses receiving open packages is a big concern.
* If you need smaller measurements, these may be a problem.

Overall if they make other garden tools with the same consistency, I would purchase them. I gave them 5 stars because the tools are as described. I didn’t fault them for the open package, despite it being a important health issue ~ I’m not certain when the package was unsealed.

My garden tools were falling apart. The plastic handles were discolored and cracking. The welded metal was coming apart. I guess you get what you pay for. Since use my garden tools out all year round, I wanted ones that I can leave outside. These are well made and single piece made from aluminum.
