I just used this product and found to be ideal for small gardening chores. The bag has lot of pockets which is a plus . All the tools do well in my hands not too heavy nor light and the gloves are sturdy and long lasting one.

Love that there’s a bag to carry around the garden and store the tools in. Now I will have them all at one time to use whichever one I need. Having the bag is great- a place for my phone and even a bottle of water plus more when I’m going to a plant swap or somewhere to dig up some plants to take home.

Cons: These aren’t high quality tools, The edges are rough so don’t rub your fingers on them without being careful. These are maybe dollar/discount store quality for the metal part. The handle is a bit above dollar store quality – formed nicely and even has rubber grip but still plastic and honestly the grip ridges are for a larger hand than mine though these thicker handles may be good for someone who has arthritis. If you look at the photos of the way the metal connects to the handle- probably just slid in and glued, you can decide on your own how long you believe these tools will work for your soil conditions. The metal is supposedly stainless steel according to item name but seems more like aluminum as listed in the “about this item” section. I will be surprised if they don’t show signs of pitting if not cleaned after each use and I honestly work until dark often and admit to not cleaning my tools every night and sometimes even forgetting them outside so they get covered in dew during the morning. Thickness of the metal – the planting shovel (what they call small trowel) that has the 1-4 inch lines stamped into the front, the stamp can be seen on the other side of the blade and I didn’t even think the stamp was very deep. The fork tool (listed as cultivator in their photos) with the 3 tines coming straight out of the handle, I can have the tines give with just some pressure from my thumb and 2 fingers so I foresee it bending if I try this near a tree root or a stone in the ground. Not exactly what I consider heavy duty as the item name states. I referred back to the photos in the listing to understand why the elastic band doesn’t have a way to tighten it. I see that it was meant to hold the metal portion of the tools to make it easier to grab the correct tool when reaching for it. But then that makes me question what I should be using the pocket. that is between the lower pocket and the band which will then be blocked but the tool. Also without a way to tighten the band it will be useless after a bit of use when elastic starts to dry out or if the rough edges of the tools fray it and maybe cut through it. I like having a bag but the functionality was not thought out in the design.
This will work for me at home for this year and possibly part of next. I tend not to spend lots of money on quality tools since I admit to not being the best at maintenance. Plus I have several garden areas so having the bag is nice and I also like having multiple sets of tools for when I have friends or family over to help. This is liftable to an amateur gardener or someone that doesn’t mind that it’s not high quality. It would actually be a great raffle prize for a garden club.

This is a great set of gardening tools! The handles are ergonomically shaped and comfortable, and the pair of gardening gloves with the digging claws on the right glove are especially cool. The tote is made of heavy canvas-type fabric and appears to be quite durable with excellent stitching. It’s nice and roomy for storing your gardening tools and gloves, and there are many exterior pockets for easily grabbing the tool you want.

JUST BEWARE: the edges on the hand rake and cultivator are completely unfinished (not filed or polished) and are extremely sharp. The cultivator is not a hori hori knife, but rather just unfinished metal that is super sharp and dangerous.

Overall, pretty nice for 20 bucks (at the time of this review).

Bought it as a gift for my mother who enjoys a little bit of gardening. Not top of the line tools by any means but perfect for her needs. The carrying bag and gloves where the MVPs of the set.
