-All of my shovels have had a lip on the back of it to help hold dirt. This one seems more about digging and not actually moving the dirt
-I also have ones with notches on the side where this one doesnt
I had to knock it a star because I really didnt get to move the dirt as I would have expected due to there not really being a way to pack dirt when digging and moving it. I would still recommend picking this up if you are looking for a great valued gardening kit.
