I love these Fiskars 6-inch pruning scissors! They’re sharp, precise, and perfect for cutting buds, flower stems, and even detailed work like pruning bonsai trees. I wanted something I could take outside and use to deadhead flowers. These are perfect for it. They’re very sharp and have a protective rubber tip cover so you can’t easily stab yourself in the leg with them. I have rheumatoid arthritis which affects my hands in particular, but I managed to use these very easily, and didn’t notice an increase in hand pain afterwards. The price is a bargain, because the shears are very high quality. I absolutely recommend these!

These work very well for “close in” pruning, like snipping tomatoes from a close form bunch. They are a handy length and thin, so you can get into places normal sheers cannot. Being Fiskars, they are very sharp. My only issue is the more or less useless blade cover, which will quickly break or get lost.

This snip is designed specifically to work with trimming content that might be resinous and/or sticky. The black non stick coating is really effective. I typically only get minimal stuck on build up of material right at the sharpened edge where there is no coating. So what does build up wipes away easily since the contact area for buildup is so thin and minimal.
Also the opener spring is stiffer than your average snip. I suspect it’s to help separate the blades when dirty and closed. As a result it never sticks closed in my usage while the cheaper Lumox branded green snip on Amazon for ~$9 would regularly get build up and stick closed. Indicating I had to stop and clean them before proceeding, which annoyingly happened very often. This is a nice feature but it does mean long trimming sessions will tire your hands faster, and your hands will get some discomfort/pain faster compared to the cheaper snips.

Great for dead-heading flowers – especially small flowers that require small scissors. But works well on larger flowers as well, like zinnias.

These are pretty sharp and work well. They are perfectly small and easy to maneuver with one hand. I use them to prune my plants and veggies, and was able to snip thin branches off my lilac bush. These pruning shears were a great price for this brand!
