Cat mama here! I have had several long hair cats and used different kinds of deshedders. This kit has the best one yet! Recently adopted a long haired mutt kitten from a rescue agency. This baby was dumped on a farm and was having issues with matting under the chin, chest and “arm” pits. Used my old brushes, combs and deshedder but it seemed to hurt him. Had to cut the matts with kitchen scissors. Bought this kit for the scissors, but was wowed by the deshedder! The scissors are sharp with rounded safety tips to prevent nicks. I tried each out and they cut the fur well. The deshedder though is worth it all. My fluffy butt cat kept coming back to rub on it. It took out so much extra fur. I just brushed him the day before I got it, opened the package and BOOM! Combed out 3xs as much fur, didn’t hurt him, and he loved it. Great buy!

We purchased these to groom our dog at home and they were amazing during the first month, it was sharp and cut through his thick curly hair on the first clip and the balls on the tip were great and gave us a bit more peace of mind that we wouldn’t accidentally poke him with something sharp. However, after the first couple of months, it started to grow dull and you really need to angle it to find that perfect cut. It still does it’s job though but we’ve had to order a second pair after the fourth month or so because it just started to get really annoying. Decent though will probably have to find a better pair after this next one wears down.

These grooming clippers (scissors) are fantastic!!!
I decided to buy some new clippers. I am not a professional groomer, but use them on my pups. I now realize how bad my old clippers were.
Each piece is a nice, heavier weight. I am left-handed and was concerned about whether that would be an issue. Nope, not at all.
They cut really nice too (this was the main problem with my old ones). I tried them on the dogs and they are sharp and have a nice even cut.
I didn’t realize how bad my last clippers were until I got these. And, a really nice plus…these were less expensive than the other ones. The case is wonderful as well.
I highly recommend this set.
