Scissors were well sharpened and easy to use. The blunt blade ends made it simple to cut into and break up hair mats without poking or nipping the pet. Always slide the blade along the skin, under the mat. Cut out toward the ends of the hair. Use your fingers and a small comb to tease the pieces of mat apart. Iโm pleased to recommend.

I am not a groomer but I groom in between professional groomings – which are much better, but fur keeps growing. I am practicing in hopes of getting better. Fortunately, the fur babies cooperate.

I have a longer pair of dog scissors but needed as shorter pair to easily navigate closer areas. I looked at a pair that were way more expensive. I went for these and they sharp, hold their edge and are ergonomic. They are also a great value! Just wipe them off with a oil cloth when done and I believe they will provide years of good service.
