This set is much better than what I’d been using before. We have 2 shorthair cats and 1 longhair. The longhair did not like to be combed & brushed when snags were there, but this set works through them more easily. For us, it was worth ordering. It does make the task of keeping the fur smooth much easier for the cat and for me!

My cat hates the sound of clippers, even low noise. These are silent. She didn’t mind I think because it feels like being brushed. Worked great. But the second time I used them they were already pulling on her hair The blade on the razor gets dull too fast. I only got one painless use out of them.

I am a pet groomer and am always looking for good undercoat brushes. The comb like brush with alternating length teeth is perfect for this! I’ve used undercoat rakes mostly but was looking for a less aggressive alternative. This one is perfect! You don’t need to worry about over brushing because it only pulls out loose hair. Another huge plus is that all of the loose hair stays in the teeth! My doggo loves it, too!
A bit of warning on the other brush, it is a dematting brush so it is very sharp! I actually cut my finger on it while taking it out of its packaging. So don’t use it like an undercoat rake. Use it for braking up mats and do so carefully!

My shih tzu has a very thick coat and this works well to remove the excess hair.
My dog is a chewer and easily chewed rubber handle.

These brushes got out some of the worst mats I’ve ever seen like they were nothing! My parents cat is mean and lazy and won’t let you touch her so as times gone by, she’s developed mats. I’d try to cut them off when I could but she would throw a fit and I never made much progress. Today I tried these brushes and I had every single mat out in less than 5 minutes! Unbelievable how well these worked. Peanut went from Miss Grumpy Lumpy to Sassy and Smooth. Highly recommend!
