Stardrops – The Pink Stuff – The Miracle All Purpose Cleaning Paste by Stardrops

So there I was, staring down at my kitchen floor grout like it had personally offended me (because it did). After one too many times walking barefoot and pretending the tile was supposed to be that shade of gray-beige-whatever, I finally cracked open my tub of The Pink Stuff.

Let me tell you—it smells good. Like “rhubarb pie but make it clean” good. I wasn’t sure what to expect from a bubblegum-colored mystery paste, but the scent alone gave me hope that maybe, just maybe, this wouldn’t turn into an upper body workout disguised as housework.

I dipped in with a damp cloth (read: my least crusty sponge), rubbed it along the grout, and waited for my arms to start crying. But guess what? No sobbing required. It actually lifted the grime up with minimal effort. I wasn’t on my knees screaming, I was just… cleaning. Casually. Like a functioning adult with a miracle in a tub.

It didn’t leave a residue, which was a win. My tiles were clean, my grout looked years younger, and my house smelled like a spring bake sale. So why the 4 stars and not 5?

Well, as much as I love the stuff, I wish it came in a squeeze tube or had a little scoop. Having to dig in there like it’s fancy sorbet and worry about contaminating it? Eh. I’m not trying to give my miracle paste a bacteria buffet every time I clean. A little tool or tube would seriously up the hygiene game. (Yes, I could use a spoon. But should I have to? No. We are in the future.)

Would I buy it again? 100%. Would I gift it to a friend who just moved into a fixer-upper? Definitely. Would I whisper “thank you” to the tub after seeing my grout return from the dead? Already did.

Just don’t expect it to come with a tiny shovel of dreams. You’re on your own with that part.

Tenia mis dudas por todos los comentarios donde mencionaban que el bote les habia llegado roto. Afortunadamente, el mio llego bien ya qu pedi otras cosas y venia en una caja en ves de una bolsa. El producto como tal, esta increible, lo he usado en la cocina, azulejos de baño, llaves y se llevo todas las manchas de sarro y suciedad. Ademas de tener un aroma muy agradable, en la tarja de la cocina me dejo como si hubiera pulido con cera, el agua se queda como gota completa y es mas facil limpiar y secar. No lo recomiendo tanto para llaves o piezas cromadas ya qu si es abrasivo y comianza a quitar un poco el material, aunque lo deja muy limpio.

I ordered this item, made in the United Kingdom (but with an American distributor), upon the recommendation of our very experienced cleaning lady. A very appealing feature for me is that it consists of 99% natural ingredients so I viewed it as environmentally friendly. The product is vegetable-oil based. I use it for kitchen cleaning primarily, to include the stove. However it can be used It is a mild abrasive paste cleaner and it works well, is not messy, and does not leave either a film or scratches on cleaned surfaces. However it is important to follow manufacturer’s directions to not use too much pressure so as to avoid any scratches. Having done so, I have had no problems and the results are always highly satisfactory. It doesn’t take much of the paste to clean so the container (500 grams of 17.6 ounces) should last you quite a long time. Stardrops can also be used with pots and pans, ovens, and in bathrooms to include showers, glass and tile surfaces. Though I have not tried it on the following, the product claims to work effectively on other surfaces such as outdoor furniture, barbecues, and brass. The container’s lid contains a QR code you can click-on to get additional ideas for usage. While not inexpensive, the quality results and the fact that a container of “Stardrops: The Pink Stuff” will last so long makes it an excellent buy.
