This little tool works wonders! It removes pet hair from furniture, car mats, carpets, and clothes with ease. Way better than sticky rollers and reusable, so it saves money too. If you have dogs or cats, this is a must-have.

Don’t get me wrong – the metal pet hair remover is very effective! But be careful to always use it with the grain of the furniture fabric. If you use it going against the grain you will get terrible damage to your upholstery, with lots of thread pulls. I wouldn’t use it on fine furniture. See the fabric damage in the picture.

My cats love to sit on the furniture, so naturally, they leave some of their fur behind. These are great at getting the fur off. Today, I decided to use them on my carpeted stairs, and the vacuum can’t get the entire stair. They actually work better at getting the fur up than the vacuum does — with the added benefit of not scaring the cats. It does take some work, of course, but it’s totally worth the effort — and provides that recommended physical activity!
